The problem is folk try to push a weak signal through these units and then wonder why it's crap, you have to put it in a good signal point then it will boost it again
Used right they work a treat

It's a wifi extender. it's not a television or 6 months supply of Doritos.
If you want to extend your existing wifi's range then buy one.
If instead you want to do a completely different task then why are you even looking at this post?

I bought mine for £18 early this year via pc world ebay store. I sold 2 days ago for £29.99 on ebay. It is NOT GREAT in my opinion. I later bought THIS (CLCICK ME) from amazon warehouse for £6.88. What a difference, my internet speed nearly doubled

Yup I agree. Extending your wifi network generally halves the bandwidth and doubles the latency. A Powerline wifi extender functions more like an access point than a wifi repeater.

I have this. Always gets a jammed signal. Have to keep turning off and on to get a clear signal again.

Every month for the past few months amazon lower this to £29.99 for a few days and then put it back up.
I'm not going to vote either way because it doesn't seem to be a great deal, however if you did need one then now would be the time to buy...
Also on Amazon's deal of the day the "save £15 (33%)" is very misleading because it hasn't been £45 since June last year.

I'd suggest going for something like this instead.
Your results may vary but I've usually found a powerline link to be as good as a proper wired link, and running your wifi repeater off a wired (powerline) connection such as these kits does a much better job than trying to run an extension from a wifi network you were having problems with to begin with....
Doesn't mean these are useless, but consider your options before you jump in.
