Hi. This offer was found 2 months ago and I'm wondering if the £60 pods offer is still available as I can't find anything about it on the curry's website. Thanks for the help.

How do you know how much credit you get towards the capsules with one of these machines? Thanks.

Yes they will probably do a winter promotion like they did last year think it was end of October

I bought one, great machine! However I also find that there is just too much choice... (not a bad thing!) Can anyone recommend which is a good "grand cru" for a latte machiato type coffee? in other words medium strength...

I used Aldi's lungo in my Magimix U with no problems. I've never tried the Lidl capsules though.

Also someone mentions they charge for delivery how much is this?
Thanks

Proper nespresso pods are worth just that little bit more IMO ..and £60 for free is a great introduction for , I've been a nespresso user for a while but might take advantage of this to have a spare to go with my pixie .

yes it does, just press and hold the button until the desired amount and next time you press it remembers

Been monitoring the cost for some time and can confirm that it has been for this price for quite some time (at least for this colour, would be a great deal of it was the black version). I invested in the Pixie which is the upgraded version for £30 more. Both are great machines though.

Among Nespresso machines, the Inissia is better than my U at working with 'compatible' pods.
Lidl's compatibles do work in the U. (No luck with Aldi's...)
However, are Lidl's Viola and Palermo varieties available anywhere in the UK? They (IMHO) really do bear comparison with Nespresso originals, but I have to get them in Europe - despite them being listed on the pack sides of the 3 UK-available varieties.
In Switzerland, there's even a Lidl Nespresso-compatible Decaf, which I find at least OK.
Its not Christmas, and sadly I don't have a Tardis, so this deal counts as fairly hot.

9.99 for 60 costco Dualit brand..

You're wrong unfortunately. This machine is £89.99 on Amazon:
Note its the one that comes with the Aeroccino. The £65 one you mention doesnt come with that.
Also the £60 of pods isnt a joke. It's given in 3 £20 vouchers which have no minimum spend if you go to a nespresso shop to pick them up. Admittedly its annoying that they only give you the next £20 voucher once you've spent the previous one, but at the end of the day you'll still be getting £60 of coffee.
Also I've tried the Aldi ones and while they're nice, they're not even close to the nespresso ones.

Had to vote cold.
The "£60 of pods" is a joke - in the same way "80% off is a joke at Sports Direct". Just buy 3rd party ones from Aldi (just as good). We picked up the exact same machine in the Currys sale for £35. Currently on Amazon at £65 (Flubit it for £57), Ebay for £50 (new, BIN).

Dualit are the best third party alternative to Nespresso pods.

Are there any hot chocolate pods available?

Totally agree! Nespresso capsules have best choice and flavour. Cafepod ones break your machine and crumple inside, Taylors are too weak and let coffee granules through, lidl are ok but taste isn't great and Havent tried dualit as they're so expensive

I would have said that too a year or two ago but john lewis customer service has gone downhill and for any warranty issues they will just refer you to nespresso anyway within the 3 yr guarantee period so no point
not a hot deal as this is usual full price. the pod credit has been running for months

Where does it say about the 16 pods or is that when you join nespresso club ..cheers

On the rare occasions that I run out of pods I find Lidl's Nespresso pods offer the best value with flavour. Tried all sorts of other 3rd party brands but generally they're all rubbish (M&S come 2nd).
I'm not buying the Dualit compatible pods as their 4 in 1 pod coffee machines are deliberately not compatible with Nespresso pods even though they are allowed to make their pods compatible with Nespresso machines - just doesn't seem right.

Remember there is a postage charge, unless you buy more pods. And this applies 3 times. I get the Dualit pods from costco I think 13p each, the cheapest about. Lidl pods aren't bad either.

Not a bad deal but the offer over Christmas time was better. Same price but with £75 in Nespresso store credit. Can't beat these things though for taste. So much nicer than Dolce Gustos and Tassimo etc.

Great deal by the way OP, pretty decent intro to Nespresso for those who haven't tried it, but want a risk free eval. You'll get most of your money back if you don't like it by selling on Ebay, plus you would of had £60 worth of free coffee (although you can only redeem in stages)

I tried these, didn't rate them, about average for compatibles.
I still think the best compatibles are the Lidl one's, but even those are still some way short of the originals
Opening post
3 year warranty too.
sign up to Nespresso for the £60 of pods.
