Not sure if this is still working:
To buy the phone without the top-up (£35), go to the 'Choose your Big Value Bundle' step, then right click anywhere and 'View page source', then ctrl+f for ''Keep your number" or ''Keep your existing SIM", then click on the URL directly above that text.
Correct price is £45 with mandatory topup.

All sorted. Managed to get the SIM out using the dull end of a sewing needle.

I've only gone and put a nano SIM in this without realising it's a micro SIM slot.

This morning I went online and purchased the moto e which has been acknowledged and I should be able to pick it up instore . Yes I had to purchase the tenner top up but I still think its worth it.
So if I do get it as they have accepted my puchase it means that this thread should not be expired.

Same :disappointed: It's annoying because back track to last week and the option to order and use with your own sim was there. Customer service didn't help at all with my account either, starting to really dislike voda tbh.

Old tricks DO still work: When asked to choose a bundle just click on the basket button at the top of the page and click go to basket. Simple, no view source or javascript tricks needed. This only works on desktop site (not mobile site) however, I just did it on my mobile by force requesting desktop site.

Does not work. Do what you say and it says "You haven't added anything to your basket yet", You cannot add to basket without choosing a top up/bundle.

Hi all - is this 'keep your own sim' option thingy not available just for Moto E 2 Gen or does it apply to all the payg phones they sell?

The option no longer appears with JavaScript disabled, and it isn't available in the page source code either. The workaround has been patched by Voda.

I ordered one 10 days ago but haven't collected it, they keep it for 2 weeks, might cancel the order .... but can confirm I ordered without top up (just disable javascript) keep existing sim and add to cart, then re-enable javascript as you will need it for the payment page.

I assume this is national? Also, when did vodafone stop allowing you to select the 'keep your on sim' option allowing you to buy without the £10 sim option?

The option to "Keep Your Existing SIM" was originally removed a few months ago, but it was only hidden after the 'Choose Bundle' page had already loaded. There have been numerous workarounds to get the option to work (such as refreshing the page until it appears, disabling javascript and other tricks), but it seems like Vodafone finally removed the option altogether last week, so the workarounds no longer work.
The title should really be updated to include the mandatory top-up, as it's not actually possible to purchase this without paying at least £45.

Top up has to be purchased now. Been like it since yesterday.
Still, better than 3's conditions where you have to buy a new SIM with a bundle on it, regardless of whether you've already got your own SIM or not.
