Just popped into tesco in Coventry (Walsgrave cross point) and found the Morphy Richards 48822 Soupmaker - Stainless Steel £30 6 in stock.

I have one. used 100's of times and works perfectly every time, if you follow the instructions.
The soup takes about 20 mins and less messy than using pans, chopping the veg small, Heating, blending and reheating.

I don't understand when people say that this is a waste of money since it's a saucepan and a blender??
The real advantage of having one of these is the fact that you don't need to "watch" the soup, you just throw in the ingredients and go do something else... It saves time and it's pretty good at it - go figure.

Loads of these on Amazon warehouse deals from £18.83. All have some imperfections.

Thanks for the pointer. I've bought one for £19.76. The description was " Used - Very Good - The item may come repackaged. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy." Along with a 40p ruler, postage was free
just use a bloody pan or a pressure cooker, or that slow cooker you have gathering dust at the back of the cupboard, which is where this will end up once the novelty has worn off . Totally unnecessary 1 shot gadget.

This was our best purchase at Xmas from Morrison's £38, no mess and makes great soup every time and tastes as good as any restaurant. You do have to use it correctly for the best result. Second best purchase was the Nutri Ninja turns out can also make soup...bummer lol.

I have one of these, love it , use it correctly and it makes great soup ! I advise not to put potatoes (if using them) in first as they catch on the bottom.

Waste of money and space. Just use a saucepan and a blender.

I have one and its burned once - my fault as you need to make sure it's stirred first and not all the veg on the bottom with liquid on top. Only time it's left burnt marks

Seen so many at car boots with burn marks inside bottom guess they're difficult to use?
