Wouldn't it be cheaper to pay for 1 month Netflix - or use the free trial, and get seasons 1 and 2?

personally felt season 2 was significantly worse than the 1st one. season 1 was amazing, a gritty, gripping, realistic crime thriller with an excellent and compelling antagonist. season 2 is a much more 'comic book-y', with most of the realism lost and significantly less interesting villains; overall less engaging IMO.

the reviews/ratings for season 2, substantially worse than season 1, appear to concur.

I didn't think they could top the "single take" fight scene in Season 1 but the stairwell fight scene in Season 2 did just that. Amazing stuff. Very happy Jon Bernthal is getting a spin-off - very well deserved as he was excellent.

Really hope they get a 3rd season - seems like The Defenders is putting that on hold at the moment.

Definitely not! It's an 18 for good reason. There's copious amounts of graphic violence.

Not seen this. My son loves Marvel, but what age is this appropriate for? 12 YO?

It's ok, but very repetitive and drawn-out. Daredevil has a lot more plot and a greater variety of characters (especially villains).

Have only watched the first 4 episodes of season one, but have to say that this is one of the best Marvel shows I have seen. I no longer have my Netflix account so couldnt watch the rest so plan to purchase it when it's released on Bluray.

I hope it comes to DVD/Blu-ray sometime...

yeah it does 720p now but still not 1080p. i just set it up overnight and bang.

The downside of playlater though is that it records the episodes in real time using screen capture rather than truly downloading them. So to get all episodes of this season would take almost 13 hours.

Plus the quality is only so so as it is encoding in real time.

It has more 'adult' content, I think JJ is a more interesting character than Daredevil and the antagonist is very good. The story is mostly good, though it has some stupid parts.
Overall I'd recommend it. If they tighten up the writing for the second season it could end up better than Daredevil (apart from the action aspect).

Each to their own but for me he nails that role. Such great acting, and the tone he uses for the Kingpin's voice only adds to his demeanor (calm and collective persona on the outside but inside a sly calculating 'devil').

​The guy that plays Kingpin forces the voice so much. Sounds very unnatural. Couldn't stand any of his scenes. That's what bothered me most about season 1.

Both s1 and 2 were fantastic. Punisher and Kingpin were brilliantly cast. Jessica Jones is recommended as well but I found it pretty bad, acting was great, but the story...

best comic related video I've watched in a long time (including the movie universe)
puts all the cheesy nonsense like the flash, arrow etc to shame.
brilliant acting, direction, setting etc...great two series.
