I assumed it was for the queen's birthday. Just checked, the bottle I've got chillin' in the fridge and it's dated 08/2016. Not sure whether that's short or normal but it won't last that long in this house. ^_^

Could be that it's short-dated stock?? Last year M&S had lots of cocktail fizz drinks r.t.c. at 99p / £1.50. Some were Xmas ranges and others just nearing their B.B. date.. Most were rather good! :smiley:

That's odd, they had a massive carousel at the entrance of the shop and big signs up promoting it, I would have thought it was national.

I've also tried the store in town (Shrewsbury) and they don't have any in stock saying that there is a shortage. He also said the deal was 2 for £5 so it seems that stores are running different deals.

This isn't nationwide. I've just called my local food hall (Shrewsbury) and they ran a bottle through the till at £3.50. The premium is £3 instead of £5 however.
