Depends on the person... I have no intention of selling on games or getting a new console (e.g. selling Wii U and getting PS4 or the NX). I love the convenience of digital and purchased an external Sandisk SSD just for this purpose on the Wii U. The speed at which the games load and render are faster than from a disc, simple as that.

Digital games have little to no resale value. If you have any sense you will purchase physical games that can be resold once the Wii U reaches the end of it's useful life - or until it is no longer supported (which won't be long now).

I sold all my Wii U games and the console for roughly 75% of the total cost - bearing in mind I got it very cheap from a post on this site.

Fun for a couple of months but once I'd played all the 'good' games and realised Zelda wouldn't be released any time soon (and will come out on NX anyway) I wasn't sad to see it go. My 5 year old was though, but hey that's what a cheap 3DS is for.

It's better to own it on physical format because this way it can be played on any Wii U and in the event that the console breaks down all that's needed is to pop back in the disc and play it. Not to mention digital games are mostly overpriced on the eShop.

You're only finding out what the rest of us have known for years. I bought Borderlands from them on Vita and the DLC had already been used. I vouched never to buy a 'New' game from them again. However the prices on their pre owned stock are excellent so are worth posting.

At least this time they're honest although the "New" option is available though.
