Think you're taking it all a bit too seriously. Heat is random anyway. I've seen two duplicate deals, one goes cold, one gets over 200. Sometimes when a deal starts off in a certain direction, people jump on the bandwagon. Not sure it's anything to do with "personalities", although you do get cold voting when an OP posts arsey comments.

I have not been lucky. I don't give a scheet about heat. I posted it really out of interest to see if I could reach the 400 the HUKD shareholders like Buzz + Fantasy who posted it got. And getting close enough which shows perhaps you don't have to be a shareholder to get heat.

PS anyone who knows how HUKD works would know that 'same deals' can be reposted after 2 weeks, its an unwritten rule but a rule non the less.
