£69.99 on ebay for a Makita impact driver bare, 18v complete with mac pac which is around £20 alone. amazon selling driver for around the same price without mac pac case.
these impact drivers are quality. use them daily on site. bear in mind you need batterys and a charger but a great addition to your makita 18v kit.

All makita tools in the UK comes with 1 year warranty, but if you register the product on their website, this is extended to 3 years. There may be exceptions I'm not aware of. I have done this with exactly this product from this seller in the last 2 weeks.

any recommendations for impact driver bits? I bought a pack of dewalt ones but don't really rate them.

Mac Pac is the case you see in the picture. They can be stacked and linked together for easy transportation/storage. Impact drivers are best used for screwing and drilling and unlike a normal drill that applies constant torque the impact driver usually has higher torque that is provided in short rapid bursts. This makes them good for heavy duty jobs where say you were putting some decking down and screwing the deck boards to the joists.
That's a cracking price. I paid about that without the case. Brilliant tool though, well worth the money.

mine came as pictured mac pack was ok. did have the combi drill section too in it, which has worked out ideal, i now have my 2 impact guns and a combi drill, batterys and charger all in one pack, its a steal tbh.

I got this last week at this price - Good deal! It came with a black makpac, and was size 3. Insert included was for a combi plus the impact driver, so be aware, may not be as pictured :smiley:
