I've made my own box set using a Swiss army knife and duct tape.

I remember Macgyver strapping a microphone to a ceiling fan in one episode - the prison guards looked to the sky thinking there were inbound choppers - which allowed him to sneak out of the prison! LOL classic show

I remember an episode where Macgyver was able to fix burnt photos and papers in a photographer red light room thingy using a special mix of photography chemicals and i think Formaldehyde, to prove a construction boss of collusion.

Yep, it was in Mexico I believe and he had to try and save someone stuck in their farm/hacienda. Not sure if they were Termites but they were devouring everything incl. people....

Not wanting to sound like a complete Macgyver Geek but the episode with the fan broadcasting over the speakers to fool the prison guards into thinking it was a helicopter was Episode 21 of season 1, A Prisoner of Conscience. The killer ants swarming the Mexican farm was Trumbo's World, episode 6 season 1.
