best mouse on the market, been using it for over a year with no complications.

This is easily my favourite mouse on the planet. Buy some eneloop pro's to go in it and you'll get decent life from a charge.
Like it so much I bought a spare when there was a £25 lightening deal going.

Sizewise it's very close to the G700s, the G602 is a little longer but it's not quite as high. For me at least it gives the effect of being more comfortable because your hand lays a little flatter to the desk. With 2 batteries inserted it's obviously a bit heavier. The original batteries lasted about 2.5 months before I put in the Eneloop Pros that were bought to try and help the G700s. I'm beginning to wonder just how long this current set of batteries will last before they run out!

That is very impressive...! What is it like size wise...? Some have commented that they feel the G602 is small in size and I do like the G700's size.
Which of the eneloops did you use, I have seen them advertised over at Amazon.
Thanks

Yeah, battery life on the G602 is amazing compared to the G700, I can't tell the difference in use between them either. I put 2 eneloops in over 3 months ago and the battery bar has not gone down at all, gets at least 12 hours use every day too.

Has this gone back up in price now? I was going to order it last night but its showing as £59.99 now...?

I have read that the Logitech G602 is pretty good regarding battery life. It can use either 1 or 2 AA batteries when in use.
Yesterday I tried my G700 again cordless and with just a few hours use this morning the message of the batteries being less than 10% came up and it needs to be recharged.

3-4 days would be acceptable but most people just don't seem to get anything close to that, in comparison my nearly 10 year old MX1000 lasts 2x or 3x longer on a single charge.

Battery life is definitely not as good as some mouses on the market but for me charging it twice a week isn't really an issue. I have 3 of these mice which replaced 3 Mx Revolutions which were worst in terms of battery life.
roycom
14 Jun 16#35
Yeap, did all that within the first few hours, power saving on, polling rate down, mouse profile too. Made not much difference and got maybe another 3-4 hrs with the eneloop Pro. The Amazon reviews tell everything really, probably more than 3/4 mention the battery.
Hunkerdown
14 Jun 16#34
Did you set the profile to power saver? I get 3-4 days use out of mine.
Edit: Also make sure the onboard profile is also setup to power saver.

On Amazon they've been <£70 for the last year, for some silly reason there are two Amazon listings for this mouse and one has consistently been priced lower than the other for several months, until this price popped up. One thing is for sure, had I not got it on a lightning deal, it would have gone back because of the battery problem.

Usually around £80.. The discount code doesn't work but still £35 not bad for this ...so grab yourself a bargain while you can.. HEAT ADDED

My first one was replaced due to the appalling battery life, the second was no different.
It has a Eneloop battery fitted and yet the life is so very poor. For some people though it seems to work out fine, as noted before, it only does that for me when using it wired.

I put an Eneloop Pro in and it really didn't make much of a difference, still barely got a full day out of it and it wasn't for gaming use but mostly work. Tried with 2 different G700S's. Put the same into a G602 and the battery meter hasn't gone down 1 bar in over 3 months!

Yes, they are refunding me without problem to be honest but i didn't really like the way wheel feels anyway so i thought it's a good opportunity to try something different.
I've ordered G700s now.

The G502 has a 3 year warranty, get it replaced by Logitech (their customer services is usually really good). I've had a G502 for 2 years, I've abused the scroll wheel and it's still working fine, you probably just got unlucky.

Yeah I've got a load of re chargeable batteries and there's always 2 on charge. got to the point where it's now a habit and don't really notice.

Swap the rechargeable battery to a Eneloop 2500mAh (battery included is 1900mAh) and battery lasts me about 3-4 days between charges. No issues at all with battery life. Also set mouse to power saver in the logitech software.
Yeah - I think we have good evidence that's the case
It makes sense too - pretty sure CCC uses a periodic (e.g. nightly or round robin) process to scrape prices, as opposed to getting triggers when a price changes. That means that unless there is a lucky alignment of CCC scrape and lightning deal the deal would be missed.

This is not a bad gaming mouse just a bit outdated, and for games you listed I would suggest corsair m65 over this one, you wont regret it and dont think there is lot other options in that price range!

2nd that you need to stock up on batteries. take it as you'll need a new one every other day.

lol just get rechargeable batteries thats what i use but you're right no one should buy this for the fact that its wireless, as my battery only lasts 6 hours so its always wired.

Hi, Thank you for your comments. This is my first time posting a deal, so hopefully it's ok. I had Logitech G502 but only after a month the mouse wheel is broken with a light use so I need to get a replacement. Do you think this would be a good replacement or Corsair M65 or something around £40-£45 range you can suggest would be better?
I play mixture of games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Starcraft II, Total War, GTA V etc
Thanks

I've got the old version of this. I just use it at work now. You need to plug it in so that you don't lose battery half way through a game, and once you've done that, you've basically got a really heavy mouse for no reason.
I've given heat for the price, and it's great if you want a wireless, but for gaming stick to wired for the reasons above.

Really good mouse, I use it wireless every day and I change batteries every 2 or days, it actually ships with an eneloop rechargeable battery inside which was quiet surprising for me. With this said, I don't think that the poor autonomy should be a deal breaker, however I bought mine for £25 on Amazon a few months ago.
You can get the included rechargeable battery to last over 2 weeks if you reduce the polling rate and change the power mode to 'power saving'... But after that, it becomes just a normal peasant mouse, and we don't want that

This was £25 back in January, but still a good price.
I absolutely love mine. I use it at work mostly wired. It's surprising how useful a 'gaming' grade mouse is actually better for work than a normal mouse. Lots of buttons programmed for repetitive tasks and a nice chunky size that keeps your hand at a comfortable grip throughout the day.
The wireless side comes in handy too because I tend to do mini presentations to colleagues at my desk - so no longer than 1 hour unplugged. This makes the short battery life a non-issue for my needs, so I'm really happy with it

Holy crap. How long do people sit playing non stop for? I get about 10-12 hours gaming out of this. It charges in about 30 minutes.
If you're not taking at least a 30 minute break every 10 hours then you have bigger problems than battery life XD

I grabbed one of these the last time that it came up on offer and I kinda wish tha tI returned it. As a mouse it is pretty good BUT it has to be wired. With little use I can manage to get about one and a half days from using it wireless. If I'm gaming then I can barely get a day.
So I have given up on the wireless aspect of it and unplugged the receiver and just use it cabled.
A decent enough mouse but terrible battery life if used wireless.

Not really - I paid £25 for it, I think it was a lightning deal.
Battery is rechargeable and takes 30 mins to get a full charge. Charging is done via the supplied usb cable.

I've been using that for Dota for 2+ years now. The mouse itself is amazing, just don't buy it if you're thinking of using on wireless mode for extended period of time.

Have to agree, it's a brilliant mouse. I've had mine for coming up to 3 years now and not had a problem with it. Battery life is short but I use it wired almost all the time. The buttons and the wheel still feel accurate and not sticky or loose. The new plastic and finish they used on the G700s is much better than the G700 (non s) and MX Revolution I had before. It still looks brand new, unlike the G700 where some of the colour had started to fade where I was pressing on the mouse buttons and the soft plastic hasn't turned into a sticky mess like my MX Revolution did.

Not the cheapest it's been but a very good mouse IF you can get past the horrendous battery life.
