Yes it's a Refurb but a branded 10.1" Tablet for £68!
Bad points, screen res is 1280x800 and 1Gb Ram.....
good points, decent brand, nice build quality, quadcore CPU, SDCard slot and it upgrades to 5.01 Lollipop.
I bought one of these myself over a year ago and I still use it daily now.
Dolby surround audio is nice and has a soft touch metallic blue finish to the back which feel nice quality. 1Gb ram has never been an issue for me and the launcher Lenovo use seems smooth with no issues.
I honeslty don't think you can get a better tablet for the money right now if you are looking for a 10" tablet.
Argos refurbs can be a bit hit and miss with a few posters saying they have received faulty items, Argos are a decent retailer though and the tablet comes with a 12mth warranty. I've ordered at least half a dozen refurb tablets from Argos in the past and never had an issue.

I'm using this now. Almost shocked to read it's 1gb as always found it to run like a dream. I only use it for web, movies and kindle and it has never let me down. Bargain at that price.

Yeah everyone is always keen to knock tablets with 1Gb ram but I've never had an issue with this tablet.

Think this is the one I have and its a very competent piece of kit for the price point

Had one of these for over a year and would recommend this. Think I paid £119 for it and felt it was a great buy at that price. Takes up to 32GB microsd (max) to increase space.
I use it a lot with a Verbatim Mediashare that I plug my USB Drives with movies etc in so the storage isn't an issue and also supports OTG
If you are looking for a reasonable quality tablet then this is a no brainer for this price

I'd be a little careful when buying argos refurbs. Bought an Asus Zenpad from them recently and it's having battery problems already, about to send it back. 12 months warranty though.

I bought the same with no problem. 2gb ram. This one has only one gb. So Asus zenpad 10is better than this for same price.

I have one, bought 8 months ago also refub and I think from this seller. Very good tablet, quick and easy to use. No problem to install root on it if you looking forward to install xmodgames on your device. Basically I recommend to everyone!

i just bought the zenpad 10" offer the other day but not overly impressed. how you think these two compare and whats the better tablet?

New phones have 6gb ram. 1gb ram is not enough for lot of apps running together on Android. But lots of people buy obsolete rubbish. So who cares.

Maybe.
When i see 1GB it swiches on a light bulb in my head and saying "DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT".
I suppose it depends on the users needs. It might be enough for my mum. She reads news and uses the skype sometimes and might buy some clothes occasionally from the internet.

So all new phones have 6Gb ram do they...rubbish. Only a handful of the highest spec phones come with 6gb Ram. Can you buy one of these for £70...no thought not.
Many phones still only have 1gb Ram. No one is claiming this is a top spec tablet. it is average spec at the most and is perfect for casual app use and gaming.
You are totally ignoring the posts from people who actually HAVE this tablet and have stated it runs fine with 1Gb Ram.
If you want a top spec tablet then sure they are out there but not at £70

I bought Asus zenpad 10 last week with 2gb ram and full HD 10 point display and good HD sound for same price. So this is definitely not a good price.

Yeah I posted that deal as well....:stuck_out_tongue:
funnily enough some people are complaining that that tablet is a little sluggish with 2gb ram......
Ram is not the be all and end all....a well optimized Rom with a fast launcher on a Tablet with a better GPU on the SOC can run just as well as a badly optimized rom with 2Gb
If you can find this tablet cheaper elsewhere than I'll concur that it's not a good deal...good luck with that though
The Asus deal is also sold out now so unless people have a very special DeLorean car they are unlikely to get one of those now.....

i bought the zenpad last week and i wasn't that impressed with the overall speed for browsing the web, although it has to be said it did playa driving game rather well. i also bought this one yesterday and i will compare the 2 next week but my money is on the lenovo A10 even with only 1gb of ram.

My Nexus 7 2012 and Nook HD+ are getting a bit long in the tooth (teeth?).
Any idea how this compare speed wise?
I quite like the idea of having a 10.1 inch screen.

Performance wise probably about the same to be honest...The SoC on these tablets was released a couple of years ago now so they aren't latest spec

I bought this on Sunday evening and it arrived on Tuesday. The box it came in was clearly second hand but the tablet itself looked brand new (no scratches or marks of any kind).
This is to replace an ageing Samsung Tab 2 10.1 which is now crawling despite a factory reset and all apps stripped off of it.
I'd originally budgeted about £250 to pick up a new tablet but as it's just for light browsing and gaming this looked to be good enough to take a punt on.
Browsing seems fine. A lot faster than the samsung but not as good as my work's iPad Air. It's light and thin so easily luggable (and to hold up when lying down). Build quality is ok (it's bit plasticky and it creaked disturbingly when I grabbed it once).
It copes very well with the Sentinel game but Candy Crush seems to stutter (not all the time but it is noticeable, the Samsung is better here *shrug*).
Can confirm that 1GB ram doesn't seem to limit this in day-to-day browsing and gaming. The speakers are very, very good - I am really impressed with them.
The only negative I can find, and I haven't figured out if it's just an annoyance, or something that will make it unusable in the long term, is the screen resolution. 1080 x 800 just feels to small nowadays.
