Charcoal under a wire frame is a grill too. Real BBQ is very different.

I still prefer the George Forman grill and an extension lead !:smirk:

Wrong. Barbecuing is a technique of cooking. You can grill with charcoal and you can barbecue with gas.

I can confirm the problem with even heat distribution - probably expected at the price. Also note that it requires a reasonable amount of assembly, so make sure you are not in a hurry

Try getting spares for one of these in a couple of years time when the burners rust away. Not a chance.

Hot for the price BUT won't spread heat equally unless you change heat nozzles jet which cost an other £15-20

Had one if these a couple of years ago. Cooks food ok, but awful at spreading heat evenly. Only the back of the cooking area seemed to cook thoroughly, while the front and sides took more than double to cook the same amount of food. Throw a few more quid at getting a decent one, or search online auction sites for a used outback/weber etc etc. well worth their money if you get a good one.

Anyone know how this compares to the Landman one that's been on offer at Tesco for £50 recently?
