Odd that you didn't know. Prime members receive an email every month offering a choice of one of the 6 books. Only the paying member is entitled, of course - not the ones added to the membership as family etc..

I hear the Johm Sweeney one is terrible. Most might remember him as that BBC journalist that was made famous for screaming at some scientologist guy.
I've not picked mine yet, probably go for The Temporary Agent.

I haven't heard of this either. I do know about the free boom each month from the lending library.

This has been in the go for some time now. Often not great options but I've had a gem or two since I started taking advantage. Worth checking out and keeping an eye on in future

As a recent prime member I knew about this but have had trouble finding / searching the free book a month from the lending library, any pointers?
If you aren't a prime member, you have the option of buying one for 99p - if you click the Get Deal button as a non Prime member, they appears as select one for 99p.
I've had the emails in the past, but not had one recently, so probably now concentrating on Prime members.

Yeah, you can still get the free book every month even if you don't have a kindle. It's just like buying a ebook on amazon so you do still need a device to read it, phone, tablet, pc etc...

I've been a prime members for a couple years now and only just found this a few months ago by chance, I think I got the email after I got a kindle but I don't get a reminder every month so always end up searching google for the link as there isn't an easy way to find via amazon.
Just an FYI for another prime benefit that maybe not everyone is aware of, if you sign up to audible through prime you get 3 months free as opposed to 1.

This is news for me but very good. I wish I had known about it the past 10 months that I've been a customer.
