This has been a deal for ages. It's good to be reminded though because many KFC stores don't promote this deal, presumably to get you to buy the more expensive meals. I'm not at all a KFC fan, but this is a good deal if you like their products.

Secondly, yes this was againincorrectly stated. I think I was supposed to use parentheses around the lard bit. This would have made it read better..

Yep, that's correct. Although in reality, a touch of oil is still needed... Supposed to create a much drier end product ..

It's analogous to carburettor v fuel injection engines. Increase efficiency (less oil), and performance (= better taste)..
