Undertale is only a fiver in this sale - might give that a go.

I had the same, so can confirm. It was a windows 10 notification popup but, obviously couldn't understand a word of it as it was chinese characters. I suspect it was saying something like "this program is still open in the background" or something.
One thing to note though is the Gog launcher is a new release in beta so maybe that's why?

You don't need the GoG client to play games.

Unless the Polish alphabet now consists of Chinese characters then I'm pretty sure it was that and I keep my system bare bones so couldn't be anything else, freaked me out

After taking 5 minutes doing the badge stuff I had enough EXP to get Spelunky free with System Shock Enhanced Edition for about £2. Fantastic deal!

i love gog`s drm free-ness, but it`s biggest problem is the limited catalog of games which means it`s all the same stuff that`s in their sales. i can never find anything i want i haven`t already got. shame.
top marks on connect though.

Smart move to have their summer sales a couple of weeks before Steam's sales.
I will buy Trine 2 for £2.09. Not a bad price for a game I will most likely play for a while.

Installed the client yesterday then immediately uninstalled as soon as I minimized it and saw a dialog box in Chinese on by the system tray.

The GOG client is a terrible background CPU hogger. I hope it improves. Heat anyway. Saves me getting my original CD copy out of System Shock 2.
