Battery is as good as phones I've used over last few years SGS4 and LG Leon...Son M4 aqua beat them all on that front but I broke screen. Size of this phone is 'just right' for me too.

Having previously used 3 husaweo devices I went for this p8 lite and honestly found it very laggy was majorly dissapointed.

I have this phone, owned it maybe a month. Its quite impressive however overall the software lets it down. Quite frustrating where on screen media controls just don't work, some notification bugs, silent mode constantly resetting, annoying battery management keeps resetting.

I bought a Moto G 3rd gen which arrived yesterday and its so much nicer on every level. Worth buying that little bit extra.

used this for around 2 months now, purchased from CPW, great phone in terms of speed and usability, lots of nice features like double tap to start, make a letter eg C and the camera opens, lovely well thought out presentation, decent screen, IMO looks really nice in white and well built, comes with lollipop but i believe it can be upgraded to marshmallow, BUT the battery is poor, sure is lasts of you don't use it! if you don't mind regular charging go for it otherwise look for one with a better battery

also CPW phones come unlocked so its plug and play with any Sim, except apple phones which i believe do come unlocked but the fist SIM which is inserted is locked to that network.

How do you upgrade to a Pay As You Go phone? My contract with O2 is running out next month, can I just upgrade to this deal for £79.99 (+tenner top up) and let my contract run out without signing a new one?

Because the normal price of this handset on the CPW website is at £159.

The non upgrade price is 89.99 + 10 compulsory top, ie £100.

Most won't qualify for the top up so need spend the extra. You can do what you like with the 10 top up, use it, give out to someone, flog if on eBay. A great phone for the money.

Have this phone.
GOOD - looks nice, fast enough (to begin with), nice screen size, slim, cheap, sd slot.
BAD - battery, mine has bent in my pocket, slows down over time, 16gb.

Download the Huawei HiCare app from the playstore, select Europe as region and select country (you can change to either Germany or Poland if UK doesn't work) "OS Upgrade Earyl Adopters". You should get the official MM upgrade so you won't lose any data or settings but take a backup first using the HiSuite application on a laptop/desktop

Had this phone for a few months and have had no issues with lag. Battery could be better but no worse than any comparable phone with heavy use. Plenty of battery saving apps and inbuilt settings to help.

Yes android pay works with this phone, had the phone for 3 months paid using android pay 5 times went through instantly no problems at all. I bank with halifax.
Just a quick observation on the battery, I find it sufficient it will easily last 36 hours for general use, and for me that includes using the bbc app to stream 6 music to my car stereo, for an hour on the commute to work and back.
Its not the phone for heavy users, but for a good spec budget smart phone its hard to beat.

Just find your device (mine was with one sim) and it works great,definitely the battery keeps much longer.

Got this phone today to replace my Samsung note 4 which randomly rebooted and was laggy. installed Nova launcher and switched off animations...the phone is awesome!!! actually prefer it to my note 4 and the huwaei apps are. pretty slick, far better than the Samsung apps. great for 100 snips

Price has gone up by £10

I uses this for a few months but ended up purchasing a different phone as it kept crashing to the point where it was unbearable. I couldn't type without the keyboard freezing (even after switching to the Google keyboard). The screen was often unresponsive and the battery didn't last long at all.
It would be a great phone if the software didn't glitch.

I wouldn't recommend this phone and I would suggest getting something else
