Product is cold as all the talent left GHD and started making the superior (yet now more expensive) Cloud 9 a long time ago.

Is this true? This would explain why my ghds in the past have been fab and this last year the expensive eclipse model keeps going into shiver mode and constantly breaking! Have sent them back for third time in less than a year! They r not as hot as they used to be either!!

the reviews on Amazon don't sound great, the plates don't meet properly so they don't straighten the same as the old version.

Thanks so much OP- literally was about to buy these on Amazon for £95, and was pretty pleased with that to be honest, ordered at lookfantastic instead - have ordered from there before and they're very reliable.
