I've got a greengrocer, a butcher and a fishmonger down the road. We have a chat and a smile when I shop there. Why would I want to use this?
And nobody come in with a 'time thing' because it takes longer to shop on Amazon than it does to nip down to the shops.

If you don't want to use Amazon fresh then don't use itbut stop bloody moaning.
There are lots people who are disabled, old etc with plenty of reasons why this is a good idea for them.
Personally it works for me as I have a kid and instead of spending my limited free time dragging her round the shops I can do something more worthwhile with her. I also do my online shop at work so technically get paid to do it too!
Moral of the story if you don't like it then don't use it but don't knock people who do!!

It's not even about access. The amount of butchers/grocers etc that don't open on a Saturday and/or Sunday when I am actually off is amazing.
Although my local butchers is still cheaper than my local supermarket for things like Lamb, which many people fail to realise - meaning more tasty lambs for me!

Amazon Fresh sources from local markets and stores too and perhaps this will give options to people who don't have access to local quality produce. Admittedly it will probably be expensive... However I can see that Daylesford Organic Farm Gloucestershire is doing 20% off so on top of the introductory £20 free Amazon, could be a good deal for someone who might want to try good quality organic meat.

I know it won't stop anyone using this service, but unfortunately what'll happen is that it will accelerate the demise of the high street, (although I know they are far from alone in this) but more importantly they will continue to cherry pick the most profitable areas by undercutting the existing providers, and once done they will raise prices, just like they did to the book shops...

majortom has a major point, although it's a little moot now all the supermarkets offer online shopping. This should already satisfy those with limited time and access. bilbob also made a very good point and probably far more relevant, which is that large corporations such as Amazon can offer to undercut the competition initially with these offers, then by squeezing the profits of local farmers, like the supermarkets already do. Just as you will see Uber decrease what they pay their drivers and increase costs as soon as they have complete hold of the market.
While new technologies will bring benefits to us, they come at a cost to someone. The argument should not be between each other (as we are a community) but with each other and how to ensure small businesses can maintain profits without large corporations squeezing them out of business. Britain was and will be built on entrepreneurial spirit, which always starts with a small business that grows, be that a local butcher or a modern tech firm.
