Very tempted, but it'll have Battlefield and titanfall to play most of the holiday season, as well as division and destiny.
Still have uncharted 4 and witcher 3 to finish, as well as expansions.
This, skyrim, deus ex, amongst others can wait until their around £15-20 mark

Thanks for the time out to reply. I know I can just search 'Neo' just was a specific question.
I'm interested in the VR but don't want to end up spending nearly a grand to replace what I currently have.
Or might just wait for the next versions in a few years time.

Will I be able to just take out my 2 TB hard drive in my PS4 and use in the new console right away? Or is it going to be just like owning a new console?

There are absolutely no official details on any of the specs of the Neo. All Sony have officially said is that there is a Neo and it will be more powerful.

In the leaked documents, didn't sony make it a requirement that any game released after September must be neo compatible? Regardeless of when the neo releases would be nice to think this will be a game that benefits from it

There's never going to be a mandate that PS4 games feature Neo support. What Sony have said, however, is that all old games can be patched to include Neo support, but all new games after a certain date will not be allowed to do this. So after a certain date, all PS4 games released must feature Neo support either at launch or never at all.

Completely different gameplay to previous entries, limited characters. The story and feel of it better make up for the fact this game holds less to do with it's namesake than other entries in the series. Due to this instead of buying new on first day of release like I would with FF game, I'm buying this used when it's below £30.

The last one I played was FFIX, but the last one I loved was FF7. Just wondering, in the 'double digit' ones, are there any nods back to the likes of 7? Things like materia, chocobos etc.

Chocobos appear in every FF as do other namesays like Behemoths, Tonberries, and a character called Cid. Materia was very specific to VII, the magic system is widely different in XV.

PS4 does have better gpu and hardware compared to the ORIGINAL Xbox One so I would say the PS4. UNLESS you're going to be getting Xbox one Scorpio.

I'll be getting it for PS4. Digital foundry tested the demo that released a few months back and it performed better and had a higher resolution than Xbox One.

They will likely both play the same for the most part. Ps4 is slightly more powerful, however xbox does have a better system for picking up a game where you left off in my opinion. But just pick the one you use the most/ care about the trophies or achievements on.
There will likely be little to no noticeable difference between the two.

Whichever console you prefer to play on. The PS4 version is likely to look marginally better, but it's unlikely to be something you'll notice. I own both consoles but get most multi platforms on XB1 now just simply because I enjoy using the console more (Elite pad certainly helped).

For me I go for the PS4 because I use it for all multiplatform games while my Xbox is just for exclusive. + I prefer the PS4 controller so that takes part in my decision too. For you, pick whichever one you prefer and feels right. Doesn't matter what platform you go for, the important thing is you get to play it. If you think the Xbox controller is better then get for xbox or if you prefer the PS4 one then get PS4 version.

I am actually tempted to pick this up as I doubt it will be cheaper between now and launch and unfortunately there is no PC version.
I would agree with the general consensus on here as well that the PS4 version will be the way to go.

On the subject of back story there is an slime short series and a summer movie coming but none are essential.
Would be nice if these new console versions can et us 60fps game from now on...
