Powered by Frostbite, FIFA 17 transforms the way you play, compete, and emotionally connect with the game. FIFA 17 immerses you in authentic football experiences by leveraging the sophistication of a new game engine, while introducing you to football players full of depth and emotion, and taking you to brand new worlds accessible only in the game. Complete innovation in the way players think and move, physically interact with opponents, and execute in attack lets you own every moment on the pitch.
Doesn't include the FUT pre order bonus by the looks of it - but still a good price as FIFA 16 for PC is still selling for £20-24 at most places.

Have you even played PES?! Fifa is much more forgiving.
I can put my controller down in FIFA and my online opponent will struggle to score because of the automatic tackling.
Do that on PES and by the time you answer the door you have conceded 3.

i thought fifa 14 was "innovative in the way players, think, move and display emotions". Gonna pass again i rekon. Got 15 but just cbf spending 30-40 on a new fifa every year. Considering itll be 99p at game in 11 months time.
Though I am a little intrigued to see how it looks / plays on the new game engine.

You can normally get Fifa for about £20-25 shortly after release.

FIFA 16 was actually the best fifa since Fifa 07. I hope 17 is as good.

I personally can't see it dropping that much below £29.99 for PC anyway as FIFA 16 is still averaging around £20-24 now.

I got it for £24 around the time it came out, the price hasn't dropped surprisingly, considering that FIfa 15 dropped to £10 efore the end of the season.

Think I'll wait for a demo. Never paid more than £25 for a Fifa game on PC so I believe this price will be coming down closer to launch.

Is there even any gameplay footage out yet? Surely its foolish to order a game you've never even seen whats on offer.

Perhaps it's you? Passes ok for me! Can't do the impossible any more. If you want a game to auto-complete any mistakes you make on the controller and assist you on everything, get PES

Ah Fifa. Most addictive and annoying game ever. Really didn't enjoy Fifa 16 and recently gone back to Fifa 15. Will not rush to buy 17 until some patches and reviews are out

I think FIFA 16 is a better improvement on 15, last years had so many problems from the nonexistent midfield at kick off leading to players running through your defence, and because almost every player inc defenders felt like Messi to control it was more or less the opposition one on one with the goalie at kickoff. The scripting was incredibly bad and the defending was horrific. The refs were card happy and don't get me started on the laggy servers slower than Mertesacker.

I have both FIFA 16 and PES 16. FIFA wins easily. I put my controller down to use my phone quickly while playing my brother on PES, looked up and the computer had auto-slid in on someone and got sent off! How is that for auto-tackling? Defenders in PES are hopeless, players get bundled over and referee might as well not exist as you have to practically kill someone to give away a free kick. If you are in the boxing press shoot you will score as the goalies are useless too. Matchmaking online games takes up to 5 mins sometimes in PES and you have to pick your team first without even knowing if you are playing someone good or what team they are playing as. I can be halfway through a game in Fifa by the time I wait on a match in PES and sit while my opponent does a full 90 seconds of formations. Defending in PES too easy. Hold down press buttons and you can get between 1 and 3 players heatseek the ball from opponent. Tactical defending in FIFA means it is up to you how well you defend. If you guess the wrong way you will get skinned.
God knows how reviewers give PES such high scores - backing the underdog it seems.

So they have introduced a new game engine which is about naffing time. Also I believe they have worked on a proper career mode, as opposed to forgetting about the single player and totally focusing on FUT because it is a cash cow. I personally can't stand FUT.

Try playing FIFA 16 career mode on legendary level and it's not easy at all. Online is much easier and the computer doesn't cheat!
16 looks great at 4K so it should be even better with the new engine.
Sadly I find it to be somewhat defensive and negative. The cpu plays a.very European style which I find a little tedious. I prefer fast open and direct football. Hopefully 17 is an improvement.

doesnt take "gaming skill" to tell a playable character to hit the ball in a direction. Maybe you're just a **** or decided he wanted to try and be a dick

My players do exactly what i want, you need to play the skill games a bit more. Learn to play! One thing i will say is that custom formations are really important in fifa 16 they were in 15 aswell but people try and play contradictory to the tactics. Hence probably why your crap.

Not as bad as people here are making it out to be, just have to get used to it, x for normal passes, r1 and x for a harder pass, hold l2 to control the ball, and combining with the usual one twos and trick passes and you can do some great combo passes to get through the defence

As soon as people accept that you can't win them all and get over been a bad loser. People won't complain as much.

its doesn't pass well at all - ai is all over the place - ive played fifa since its inception >20 years. Fifa 16 is terrible. Best by far is Fifa09 where I managed to make the top 400 in the world of a reported 3 million players (and a large % of those above me cheated)
