Or collect better batteries (Kodak vs Energiser) from Poundland and save 99p.
Not to mention that the Wilko ones would save you £2.14!

Energiser or duracell?

IKEA! Regularly shown to give the best value for money, ie capacity vs price.

You cannot be serious - but I fear you are! All batteries in the same size are not the same by a long way. Those Kodak batteries in Poundland are barely good enough for your remote control.

1. There are 24 in this pack.
2. The Poundland ones aren't alkaline, they're 'heavy duty' (ie pretty useless for most things)
3. But you get the June 7th Fiction Of The Day award, so that's nice!

1. Not in my Poundland, matey**
2. Only 6.
3. Kodak? Really?
4. Did you check the expiry date ;-)
**There's often great things on the website that never get seen by human eyes in store; Unicorns, Loch Ness Monsters and Alkaline batteries, to name but three.

Pointless. The page is dated 2012. When you're testing things by price, it needs a date when the prices apply (not given). And as they cite 99p Stores, it's certainly months out of date, if not 4 years.
Additionally, they tested ONE cell (with a few exceptions - 'We repeated some of the more surprising results'). Not fair. They should have tested several from different batches, and allowed for varying expiry date. It's pseudo-science.
Good Try though!
Nice to see another Poundland supporter, but no cookie today.

I'm glad you agree with me about the kodak batteries. the reason they are a pound is coz they are fit for the bin after a few hours of use. they are OK for a remote but nothing else and like I said you get the 20% off for signing up on the enegizer batteries.

I did, but they only sell hearing aid batteries (and not cheap)
I said you'd directed me to them, and they reckon you haven't a clue :stuck_out_tongue:
Oh, and there's none in my local Poundland, Matey ... they reckon you haven't a clue either :man:

Realise that this is over a month old and I could repost, but heat where heat is due.
This was a great price. With so many places selling dodgy Duracell ones, this was a great buy and at AMAZING price.
Thanks!
