anyone looking for batteries for these , I'd recommend buying from torchy on eBay, very reliable and you will need flat tops

You can charge the battery inside the unit.
If you really want a separate charger I would recommend the Nitecore

Best buying from Fasttech don't worry about the security tag removal.
They remove them so nobody can trace where they are bought from.

Just make sure you tell Gearbest you want a refund and not credit for the site, to be fair they did refund pretty quickly after I messaged them.

I can't fault it. I already had one so this is my second...first time I've ever liked a mod so much that I bought the same one twice! I tried the USB charging for the first time on my older one last week and it works fine. I use 18650's in all of my mods so easier just to charge multiple batts using a charger but I can see the USB charging being handy on occasions.

Just been to a vape shop. Had to get a new tank as the one that came with the Dovpo was broken (couldn't open the bottom to change the coil). So I now have an aspire Cleito and got some Decoded Atlantis juice (which is great!). They also helped me with wattages and setting up a (for now) optimal system. Thanks for all your help!

From what I've learnt so far as I'm a newbie too, u should get liquids with higher vg as it's thicker and less likely to leak and also go for very low nicotine. My advice is visit a Vape shop but don't believe
andy5and
19 Jun 16 #94
Kanger subtank attomisers fit the Dovpo and you can buy them in any good shop.
Not sure about the leaking issue best if you watch the video below (larger version of your tank which I have)

Attomisers are not generic and the Kanger subtank attomisers are the only ones for your tank

18mg would be very strong if you are using a low resistance atomiser.
The tank you have comes with 2 different atomisers 1.2ohm / 0.5ohm
I use a 1.8ohm atomiser and vape 18mg juice at 7watts
You need to lower the nicotine strength and set the volts (1.2ohm coil at 3 volts)
Use this chart below
http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9dkanCt0I1qc8949o2_1280.png
I think you should stay clear of the 0.5ohm atomiser for now and use the 1.2ohm with a lower strength nicotine.
If you want some more attomisers you can buy them cheap at Fasttech

Got some e-sheesh from the corner shop (fruit mix, 18mg nicotine) which made me cough and splutter and wasn't the best experience. I'm off into town today to a dedicated vape store to seek some advice and guidance. Also, it would seem that some of the juice leaked out overnight so I might have a dud....! Depends if they have stock. I ordered the black and brushed steel one yesterday and it shipped today. Airmail orders usually take about 7-10 days from Fasttech. The white one I ordered a few weeks back took a lot longer but that was due to no stock and it took 10 days before I got a dispatch confirmation. Stock level/shipping dates are shown under the price. Black one currently showing as shipping next day...

KendallC
13 Jun 16 #73
I've bought a number of eleaf products from them in the past. Fasttech have good customer service and are honest with customers and item descriptions but a little shifty when it comes to bending the rules to keep prices low. For example, they have been known to remove warranty cards with serial numbers to stop companies (like Eleaf) figuring out who is supplying the products to them and cutting off the supply! They have a pretty good rep amongst the vaping community though so don't be put off!

If you want to be sure I'll post again when my new Pico gets dispatched which should be later this week.

Which tank did you buy? Some coils you can rebuild yourself if you want to save money and/or build one that works better than the standard ones. Either way you can buy replacement 'heads' (the bit that houses the coil) for all tanks (asides from those specifically designed to be re-coiled by hand) and that is all that needs changing over time. Depending on your tank the heads shouldn't cost more than a dollar or two at most.

I think airmail Singapore post is the one they give you free with orders over $20. That's the one I always use...takes about 10 days. If you go for the free shipping with orders under 20 bucks they usually suggest an upgrade for a small cost. It's worth it as the free shipping on under $20 can take weeks and sometimes months!

Update: Just checked my past orders and all of them seem to have been sent Singapore airmail so go with that one.

KendallC
13 Jun 16 #60
Are you trying to buy juice? I had that problem and they said it's because you can't pay for nicotine products with a credit card. Another tip for Fastech is if you order over $20 worth they upgrade the shipping and it's a hell of a lot quicker. If order is less than $20 it's worth paying the little extra to upgrade to airmail.

Update: Just ordered a Pico from Fasttech. First page of checkout shows credit card logos, second page seemed to only show paypal as an option but then when you click on secure checkout there's a credit card option again. I paid with Mastercard with no problem. As I mentioned though, if there's any juice in your order you may have to use paypal.

Interesting... The app cut off my last comment. Tip for beginners is learn how to mix your own liquids. Mine cost me about £8 oer 100ml at 3mg to mix and I know exactly what I'm putting in it. You never know what shops put in their pre mixed liquids to maximise profits.

13 Jun 16 1 #40
First you got mechanical mods which were glorified metal tubes to hold the battery: http://thebestvaporizer.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/nemesis_shined_001.jpg
Stick the atomiser on top, press the button, the coil heats up and the juice is made into vapour.
A box mod is a box that holds 1 or 2 batteries, they have a circuit board installed for battery safety, latterly they have chips and little screens where you can read the resistance of the coil (handy if you make your own coils), change the power being supplied to the coil etc.
KendallC
13 Jun 16 1 #39
Decent ecigs basically have two main parts. The tank (that holds the heating coil and juice) and the other part that in it's most basic form is just a battery with an on and off switch. More advanced ones have various ways to control wattage/voltage/temperature etc. Box mod is just a term for any one of these that is box shaped as opposed to the tubular shaped ones that came before them. I can assure you that this particular mod is just as suitable for beginners as it is for people who have been vaping for years that require more control over things. You just need this, a tank and some juice and you're set to go.

I get my liquid from http://tmbnotes.co/index.php?route=common/home I have bought cheap liquid from quite a few places and much more expensive liquid the expensive stuff I find has more flavour sometimes but too much flavour to me gets annoying if possible I prefer to make my own coils with an rba coil so I don't need to buy coils and throw them away makes vaping much cheaper if you get into it a second vapor to keep in the car or at work is always good incase you forget this one

It does indeed take an 18650...the smallest mod I've ever seen to fit one. In fact the box itself is ever so slightly shorter than an 18650....the last bit is covered by that cap you see on the top that looks like a big button.

The quality is excellent...eleaf are a well respected ecig brand. Despite the great price it's not just some cheap rubbish. UK website here...

Fasttech is usually the cheapest place to get anything...delivery not the quickest but they have a huge range and usually cheaper than anywhere...although not in the case of this deal!

The best advice I would give to new vapers (asides from the kit as you have that) is be careful where you buy batteries for safety reasons and keep trying until you find a juice you like. Everyone has different opinions...one mans fave juice can be another mans idea of revolting. As you may expect, the higher priced juice tends to taste a lot better. You will probably have to do a fair bit of trial and error but stick with it and hopefully like a lot of us you will have no interest in smoking a real ciggie ever again.

I'm very surprised this isn't getting hotter than it is. I wonder if it's getting silent cold votes from the anti vaping brigade. Either way for anyone in need of a new or spare box mod I can't recommend this enough...even for beginners as you can ignore all the fancy features, set the wattage to one you like and vape away. It feels very good quality, pretty tiny and has setting lock so ideal for your pocket. As mods go I cannot fault it!

Can you link a recommended battery off there too please, and recharger if I need one.

Currently using the now defunct aspire e30w mod which has multiple problems and is on the verge of bindom.

Torchy gets my vote too. I use these with all my mods including the Pico...

EDIT: Link only seems to work if you cut and paste it...otherwise it's telling me listing has been removed for some reason!

You can charge the battery inside the unit.
If you really want a separate charger I would recommend the Nitecore
