Is this the same game that came out on the PS1. Remember playing it for ages but getting disheartened when I realised I hadn't been keeping record of which shards I has collected and tracking down the ones I had missed was gonna take me ages. Brilliant game though. Will have to finish it someday.

Quick heads-up. If you're after a Dragon Quest fix while waiting for this game, or just want to plat two great RPGs, DQ VI and DQ IX are still available at Argos for £6 and £5. Don't know how widespread the stock is. Although I bought them sub £10 over a year ago. They must have had thousands sitting in a warehouse somewhere!!
