**YOU MUST USE THE LINK IN COMMENT 1 FOR THE PSN CREDIT**

Fab price for this lot. PSN credit has returned :)

Put Xbox One in the title, as some people will own both of the consoles.

I've got a copy already, can't understand why they're charging so much for a 20-year old game.

Paid £13 for DOOM, a kiwi fruit, some frozen croissants, pasta sauce and a potted plant.

Very odd bit of shopping.

I'm glad I didn't full price for DOOM. By the time I got around to eating my kiwi I was already half way through it.

It just seems to be dependent on stock in most areas with the psn cards being the rarest item from the looks of it.

Props to Sainsburys though. They could have ordered all or most of the orders cancelled but it looks like they didn't. Weird how a few people got their accounts suspended.

Collected mine tonight, PSN top up missing. Charged £13.64 for the rest.

Those flowers are awful though, the look on my g/fs face was priceless when I handed them to her, was certainly along the lines of 'what the hell are those, cheap, tacky, **** !!?'

Very happy

Only pasta sauce swapped for better one.
Driver was very friendly , said it was the smallest order he's had today, but he wasn't suspicious... He did say it looks an expensive order, so he obviously didn't look at the receipt.

Very happy. Although the flowers are abysmal haha. Food is going to a food bank.

Just had mine delivered. The flowers deal didn't work for me so I ordered two packets of pasta instead.

Arrived with no PSN credit, no Doom, no pancakes and a replacement pasta sauce, so all in all I paid £6 for 2 packs of pasta, a jar of sauce and kiwi... Not too pleased.

Seems that people are having a lot more luck with delivery rather than collection.

I tried collection at the Cheadle branch first and received a pretty rude phone call in response, claiming they don't have either the game or the card in stock (a lie, they definitely have Doom in stock as I checked).

I since ordered by delivery from a different branch and this is due to be delivered tonight. No phone calls so hopefully this will go ahead.

Just got a call from an Online manager saying that my delivery has been cancelled due to a security check failure. The items that I purchased and the delivery address apparently is causing a "security risk". I can't believe they are suspending my account and cancelling my order with lies. The Online manager "Emmanuel" was extremely rude and did not want to talk to me at all. Frankly disgusting customer service. Avoid online purchases at all costs!

How can Sainsburys cancel orders & suspend accounts if you are first time customer? :disappointed:

For those that didn't get their order & please be honest, are you brand new Sainsburys customers or are you creating second, third, fourth accounts?

If you are genuine first time customers, then it's not fair to have orders cancelled.

I tried again but with delivery and got the call again this morning. I must have been one of the lucky ones.

Only three items in stock at Chester.
Doom, £25 PSN and a kiwi for just over £31.

Very big hot from me!

I picked up mine today

They subsituted nearly all my order
£25 PSN for a £35
Expensive Kiwi for cheap Kiwi (but still discounted)
£2 flowers for £5 flowers (Mrs is getting these so not fussed)
Findus pancakes for sainsburys ones.

cost a little more but still a good saving

Really annoyed at this. Not only have Sainsburys cancelled my order, they've also deactivated my account without even telling me. When I try to log in I receive an "account is not active" message.

I don't understand exactly what I've done wrong here, and why Sainsburys seem to have targeted me when other users have their accounts intact and their orders delivered.

My delivery last night was OK. They said they couldn't deliver PSN cards so that £25 came off the price. They substituted a cheaper Kiwi for the more expensive one but kept the more expensive discount. They had not taken off the £2 for the flowers so a call to customer services gained a £2 refund (they tried to offer a e-voucher but I said can you not put back on the card and they did that so cool). It was delivered so I paid £1 for delivery final cost £10.86 including delivery. Very Happy

15 Jun 16 #235
Bad delivery experience here. Original order came to around £40. Guy turned up and said that 3 of my items were unavailable and were replaced by more expensive items. It pushed it up to about £64, but with the £20 off I still thought it was a good deal. I checked with him that that would still come off the price and he said it would. However checked my account after and have been charged the full £64.

Have email Sainsburys to request a refund for the £20 but am not too optimistic after reading their T & Cs. So, just a word of warning.

Just got mine, no PSN, had sub with bolognaise (sorry, that's the one thing I can cook), so with £1 delivery, £13.39 and then £1.50 refunded for rejecting the sub. Can live with that. Dissapointed though, not sure I'll use again.

I received my order and whats happened is the £25 psn card wasn't available so they have taken off £25 from the total cost. So Ive got doom, pancakes, bolognese, and flowers for £12.99.
Mr Ashcroft
15 Jun 16 #231
Wow, every single item apart from Doom was replaced with a more expensive one, and no offer of refunding or reducing the difference. It's still not a bad deal at £49 for the game and the £35 of PSN credit I had to pay for, but what a hassle at the doorstep. Doubt I'll start shopping this way, it'd be a nightmare with a proper shop.

I couldn't get the flower code to work either. However, there is a banner on the site clearly saying the flowers are free so I just took a screenshot of it and added them anyway and will call after the order is received and ask for the £2 to be returned.

There were no pancakes so I couldn't use that code and the Ginsters code (mentioned in the vouchers part of HUKD) wouldn't work either but again I'll just see if they can take it off when I call, if not no biggie as they are reduced to £1 as it is.

Great deal and worth noting you don't have to use it for games. This offer is just an example of how it could be used. Though I'm sure Doom is great I have a massive to play list and don't need the PSN credit either so just used the codes against a normal grocery shop, maybe not quite as exciting but works just as well....

Did they take the money from your account? If so, they have tied in to a legally binding contract to selly ou those items at that price have they not?

If they cancel mine I just hope they inform me before hand to save me the travel to the store!

Spark
15 Jun 16 1 #162
That is complete and utter nonsense. Sony couldn't care less how their codes are sold because the retailer will pay the same commission to Sony regardless.

Sony do care about direct credit card fraud on PSN as that costs them. Codes sold at lower than RRP are the fault of the retailer.

Legally Sainsbury's are perfectly allowed to do this, and they have done it recently when a lot of people combined offers to get Prosecco cheap http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/shopping/2016/05/sainsburys-prosecco-trick-uturn-your-rights

It seems Sainsbury's are less inclined to honour orders now where people combine offers to get better deals than they intended to allow :disappointed:

I just had a call from some idiot from the Denton store to say they are 'not happy with the contents of the order' and that they are not taking payment for the order. She couldn't even speak properly and was trying to get off the phone asap.

Head office told them not to process the order and to call me to say this but she didn't take a name of who she spoke to.

what an idiot.

If I need t take this further I should contact the customer service desk.

I cant even check the online order status, it gives me a continuous loop of logging in when I try to log in.

The stock doesn't come from the store you click and collect at, there will be a van somewhere in the carpark where you collect from and the van will have come from another store. The store that had the goods for the orders for the one I went to is actually closer to my house than the nearest click and collect but it doesn't offer click and collect itself which is mental.

Quoted from one of my other Sainsbury's posts - "Great deal, complex, but nothing your well seasoned Hotukdeals veteran couldn't follow."

**Need to be a new customer**

1) Add DOOM
2) Add PSN CREDIT
3) Add PASTA SAUCE
4) Add FLOWERS
5) Add KIWI
6) Add PANCAKES

7) Add the following codes (IN THIS ORDER)
FREEBREAKFAST
FREEGOLD21
FREEFLOWERS
FREESEEDCHANGE
CATNNXSANA

8 ) Choose free C&C or pay for delivery.
