It's up to 14.99 now, bought it and blimey - it doesn't hold your hand like dirt 3 did. I'm sure after a few weeks, I'll manage to make it up pikes peak without crashing 30 gazillion times....it even made me start looking for a nice racing wheel on HUKD...this place sucks the money out of without even trying :smiley:

The game is challenging sure. But for me that makes it more enjoyable. Most racing games result in me achieving 1st place in races. Not because I'm amazing, far from it, but because they generally default to a mode that I think is too easy. I have won the first three championships in a row on Dirt Rally on PS4. But I have not won all races. I haven't used a rewind yet. But then I also don't blink in any race either. :confused: For anyone who longed for the rally games of old, this is nearly there, and definitely worth a shot.

The whole point of the game is not to make it easy for you, and to encourage you to get to learn how to drive "properly" rather than just throw in some aids or options to dumb it down. It's then more rewarding when you pull it off, rather than just changing the settings to make it easier. Practice, learn and then you will rewarded.

​Not thinking they need to change the game but a setting in the menu for causal players and younger players would help the none hardcore players enjoy the game.

They need to add a causal mode for 90% of the players, can't believe how hard this game is and I'm usually good at most driving sims. Think i will stick with storm island for now as no amount of practise will make me good at dirt rally.

Think you are good at driving sims ? Try the Pikes Peak track in this game and reevaluate your driving skills! Lol

Yes I play with a pad on the PS4, it's absolutely fine. I've even won some events on the hardest difficulty level and came second in the championship.

It's fine on a keyboard. Can't speak for a joypad though as I hate them. Not tried my wheel yet.

I suck at driving the mini! I can't even make it round a hair pin at 10 mph. but when I am speeding through the Welsh woods without crashing. oh man what a feeling!
