So not sure if this will be to everyone's taste but we manged to book a great deal for Vegas this morning via Expedia (which Virgin Holidays couldn't price match).
Dates to get the price mentioned in title 23/11 - 30/11 (there are other dates a week either side for 7/8 nights slightly more expensive). You will also be there for "Black Friday" - think of the shopping!
Direct Virgin Atlantic flights from London Gatwick, Flamingo Hotel with Breakfast for 2. The prices comes up at £541 each with topcashback you will get 3.85% back. (There are other hotels for a little bit more like the Luxor etc, we chose the Mirage).
Hope this helps someone :)

A few hours later, and I couldn't get that price. It was £627 when I looked.
Plus, don't forget resort taxes and other add ons, all not listed in the Expedia 'total' price. It was telling me there would be an additional $221 to pay at the hotel on top of the Expedia price. Not a small amount after todays currency drops!
Still a cracking deal if you can get the OP's price!

For resort taxes... in germany we get round that by saying were there on business, business folks dont pay tax, only tourists!!

That's interesting. I wonder if that works in the States too?

Agreed. Checked some hotels on Expedia and Hotels.com, Leisure price vs. Business price and both state the additional fees.

Be warned. Expedia's customer service, should you need it, is bad in a way that's hard to believe until you've experienced it.

Not really, recently spoke to them about changing accomodation and they were first class.

1-3rd December is Rodeo Finals, then party party party till 10th. If you can get a deal anything close to one OP posted for those dates then BOOK IT - one hell of a week to be in Vegas!

If you have ever been to Circus Circus you will understand why. It really is a dump.

what is the resort fee?

Just got back this week from four nights there, amongst other places.
The Luxor is really starting to look quite tired. Agreed about Circus Cirucs....not only is it a dump physically, it smells and is way out of the fun area.
If you're going to stay in a hotel that is not quite in the vicinity of strip activities, Hooters Casino is no cleaner or dirtier than the Luxor and is much cheaper (around £20 a night + resort fee.) It's 'off the strip' but to get to the strip all you need to do is walk through the car park of the Tropicana.

If we hadn't just got married in New York I'd have been all over this. Excellent price.

anyone know if its best to pre-book a hotel for a July (1st or 2nd week) trip or is it perhaps better to get a walk in rate ? Also would a walk in rate be any cheaper anyway ?
Thanks in advance
