It's called Deadpool.
Were you expecting something more like Pride & Prejudice or Bambi?

Yes the most cringe worthy Americanised nonsense i've ever seen/heard.............
That is odd considering Sony smart TVs & blu-ray players support the service.

Voted hot.
Is it just me or is DeadPool way over-hyped? I've seen it...crazy action and violence...humour is decent (though sometimes cringe)...or am I about to get trolled?

Watched deadpool, thinking it was going to be an even crapper xmen film.
Was brilliant! From the initial credits to the end, loved it. Even wife enjoyed it! Couldn't think of anyone who could play the role better. Wouldn't bother watching an ironman film again, but I'd deffo give this another run through.
Loved Deadpool I'd rather buy it than rent it so I did and got the HMV edition as it had free postcards. I'd normally get the steelbook but thought it looked bland.

I'd say it's the other way round I think it gets too much stick. Surely you're going to know whether it's your type of thing beforehand though and if it isn't you're best not to waste your time.

Awful film full of 'clever one-liners' with slo-mo & frozen multple camera shot violence as the guy in the suit effortlessly dispatches ridiculous 'russian heavies' (as generic bad guys) while giving smarmy one liners to camera. Intensely irritating and cringeworthy. Basically what a 13yr old might find cool although its so rubbish I doubt even that.

I dunno, the bit where he gets attacked by the bear is pretty funny.

Personally I enjoyed it and I'm more then double the age you think would find it cool.
It's supposed to be over the top violence, crude and at times very taboo humour with Deadpool being renowned for breaking the 4th wall.
It's like complaining you didn't like a Rambo or Rocky film because it's got Sylvester Stallone in it.
I highly recommend you avoid Turbo Kid (anyone who liked Deadpool will probably really enjoy it).

Yea it's a decent film, and yea each to their own, I get the crude humour, but the way the media and general public reception makes it out to be super amazing / over-hyped...that's all. Worth watching. It's not a standard film, but one with crazy violence that kinda compares is Kick Ass - now that was a good film.
And yea I know it's a different kinda film, but Ant-Man is better...to me anyway!

The film was bad enough I'd rather not go through 1.5 hours of how they made it either. The Revenant, well that was a decent film but why couldn't Tom Hardy get an Oscar he was even better than DiCaprio.

And still thoroughly enjoyable and better than the long winded Batman v Superman - individual performances fine, esp Eisenberg (for me anyways) just long winded and Batman hating Superman wanting to kill him just didn't make sense

I'm 47 and loved it. it's okay for adults to like superheroes these days - I've checked this with my mum.

It's deadpool, it's what he does, an anti-hero superhero who cusses the cr*p out of everything, and Ryan Reynolds was perfect for the role. You definitely fell for the 'hype', never fall for the 'hype' and always go in with 'low expectations'.

I desperatly wanted to love it, just the idiotic Batman wanting to kill Superman was just daft.Spoilt the whole thing and I've never been a fan of Doomsday either Darkseid will be better

The first 70 mins of Dawn of Justice is like watching somebody's dream or unconscious mind and not having a clue what's going on.

Can't argue with that. And the mass destruction at the end, should have been hundreds of thousands dead. Building blocks wiped out , etc I had really looked forward to it. Batman stealing from Lex obviously motivated him to get Superman to kill Batman, but how did he know his mother ?
