Summer Sale looks mostly pants as usual - the usual culprits on sale at the same prices as previous years (I'm looking at you Payday 2) but saw this pop up as I scrolled through my wishlist and thought it was a good price. Looks the cheapest its been at 70% off. Includes all the released Xbox DLC from memory too (please correct me if I'm wrong though).

Got this cos I couldn't wait for Xbox One Dead Rising 4 after seeing the trailer which looks Brilliant.

I didn't like this at all, which you could argue is personal preference but a lot of it is because of how ugly and jerky it is. Doesn't deserve your money.

I knew £11.99 sounded high. Although, DR3 never seems to drop much.

Hasn't this been cheaper in the sales before? If so, best to wait.

Lowest recorded was £11.99 at GMG around March apparently. Suppose a 20% code they may have had floating around then would have dropped it by £1.50~. Since steam have done away with the dailys and flash sales it almost certainly isn't going to drop any lower in this sale. You could say the same about it dropping for any game, in 5 years this might be in the £3.74
Edit: Was £9.99 on Funstock (down to £7.99 with code) fair play. I'm springing for the complete edition myself so the price difference is negligible to me. Plus, I want to play it now not in another 6 months.

This is the cheapest it's ever been through the Steam store (it's been the same price in the last 3 sales as well). It's been cheaper on other sites, such as Funstock, before.
I've been put off this game by the mixed reviews before, but now I see that recent reviews are very positive. Still, I think I got my fill from the previous two games and £12 goes a long way in a Steam sale - you could probably get four better games for the same price.

Cheeky sods. Their sale actually ended at 17:45 according to enhanced steam and the prices went up as I was trying to work out DLC costs. Seems a bit pointless them ending it only to start another one 10 minutes later mind you  But it is a given if there's ever a steam sale Payday is going to be £3.74/£3.75. As far as I'm aware its only something about a locked frame rate people grumble about, performance issues were generally patched out of the most part. You can say its expensive, but it does include the DLC which was released on Xbox and I can't say I've seen a Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse edition for under £15/£20 before and the base game isn't much less than this. Great game and well worth £12 in my humble opinion :stuck_out_tongue:
Edit: Also if it runs poorly you've always got steams refund policy because I doubt you're going to run a sub optimal game for more than 2 hours.

Crappy port. Buy at your own risk.

Hasn't this got performance issues from what I remember? Seems quite expensive for what it is

They've actually increased the price of PD2. Albeit only by a penny, but still.
