Lots of ram deals lately, here's another one, sorry if posted already.
Speeds start at 2133 MT/s and faster data rates are expected to be available as DDR4 technology matures
Increase bandwidth by up to 32%

I think I'm gonna have to stand in it cause nothing that I overclocked caught on fire in the last at least ten years

Thanks - very useful. A 57% speedup in encoding is very useful.

Not sure why I'd need a bucket of water unless you want me to have water cooling lol

He means in case it catches fire, or he wants you to stand in it lol.

Well, I gave in and ordered a set. Hopefully it will overclock to 2666mhz then my build will be really good price/performance.
So weird ordering the least expensive parts first. First the cooler that had 40% off and now the ram. Only the motherboard and the CPU left. (Oh and ordered some thermal paste already)

do not forget, a full bucket of water ready just in case before you start the pc and good luck

They will do that easily. My MSI board has memory overclock options for different chips... you can just pick "micron" in the BIOS (who are crucial obviously) and select 2666mhz... and it works

Yep. There's a bit more to 'real life usage' than just gaming.

Just checked, and as suspected there is 0 difference between this and faster/more expensive kits in real life life usage:
