only reservation would be its 1gb ram, other than that looks decent, hot.

Had the 9" version, took back for refund, tablet slow, screen scratched to hell after 2 weeks light use.

Would this be any good for installing Kodi onto it?

Would be perfect. Only issue is controlling it from the sofa, you ideally want a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse

I had the 9" version too, thought it was slightly sluggish but great for streaming Xbox.
I also thought that about the screen until I discovered that it had a pre-installed screen protector (Doh), which made it look like it easily scratched. much better without.

Have an 8" Windows tablet, way too small in my opinion for Windows. But each to their own.

I had a linx tablet which I tried and tried and tried to get on with but the windows OS is just too clunky. Android and iOS are miles ahead and far more usable.

Would someone be kind enough to give me the touch driver's version and date please?
It is a "KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device" under "Human Interface Devices" on the tablet's "Device Manager".
I know this is not a support forum, but believe it or not I haven't been able to get this information from Tesco nor Viglen, nor even from Silead!
