I know that most people do not read T&C, installing aps and games on phones by accepting anything and giving away ALL their info, giving consent to Fb, Google and other coorparate bussiness which openly has intention to monitor every single step and hearth beat of yours, but... what is the purpuse of this thing? Yes, they might pay less tax and can give you a better deal, maybe just make you use to this scheme, or they just love charity. But i have learned that completely nothing is for free and serves the purpose.
So why do you need to "accept the deal", maybe because you accepting some terms? Has anyone looked into it?

Search "1p" on ebay. Lots of recipies for the price. Lets say you buy 50 of them. 50x50 is 2500. Is £12.50. Seems like a no brainer... but im not sure if it would actually let you do it.

I've just seen a message on my eBay account next to my last 45p purchase, which says "Purchases under 99p do not qualify for nectar"

The General Nectar rules state that they only aware points on purchases over 98p so I don't think the 1p purchases will work unfortunately.

Don't see how this justified such heat really, saving between 25p -60p. Yes it's a deal and a saving but shopitize posts each week save about the same and never reaches anywhere near this heat.

I activated the offer in my nectar app last night and purchased this morning but nothing showing in the bonus points section. I had another offer last month -200 extra points when buying 3 times but that never got added either. Will see what happens :smiley:

I've bought 14 items under 99p off this so hoping there isn't minimum spend as initially thought.

So basically you have to spend at least £1 per purchase and you have a chance of getting something between 25p - 62p worth back in nectar points. It is still a good offer if you're planning on buying loads of low priced items.

I'm off on a bike ride next weekend so got myself some riding gloves, a hat, high-visibility jacket, scarf and a few really cheap bike bits (bags, reflectors etc) from China lol. All useful to me and all around £1 so I didn't spend a fortune and I'm hoping for a good point bonus return :smiley:

IME they will arrive from anything from 2 weeks to four weeks (very rarely longer) - my average is 15 days. Yep, you've guessed I buy loads from the big C. Who wouldn't? Most is FREE p/p so it's win, win, win. Only an idiot buys the same item here (with a brand name on, but identical) for far more money - you're simply paying for the name on the repackaged item! And if you haven't done it (ie, bought direct from China, they are in the main incredibly generous and will bend over backwards to please you. You don't like what you buy, and a refund is virtually immediate without even returning the item.

Oh, nearly forgot... HOT from me. Anything to do with Nectar is hot. Best card out there.

For those of us that are seriously exploring these reward point systems for the first time, is there a info source where we can compare the advantages of the different reward schemes as they stand today?

(For e.g - I understand tests have changed their valuation of club card points to reduce their 'potency')

I save them for when Nectar offers points back for turning your points into Ebay voucher. For example you convert 2000 nectar pts on Ebay, get £10 to spend there and get a percentage of the points you converted back, last two times it was 30% and 50%!

Recently I have also purchased two Cafe Nero vouchers for 350 pts each.

Yep, same. Made 3 purchases over £1 and loads under, I got 150 points.

They just appeared

i got 150, but they just deducted 50 of them off my balance!

They are taking points off as they were given in error apparently! Seeing as it was a suprise amount I don't know how it can be an error but looking at the nectar facebook page I got off lightly with 100 of my 600 points deducted, people reporting minus 675!
