Just noticed they're once again offering Mad Max Fury Road HD in the Chromecast 2 offer - though previously in SD (last offered last November iirc).
I was after a Chromecast with a really decent film (may not be the newest I know but definitely not mediocre...). Purchased one myself.
The Chromecast comes in a choice of three colours:

I purchased this with Mad Maxx Fury Road but seem unable to redeem my chromecast off the google store. When I apply (the apply seems to be grey out but even when it seems to accept the) code it still says £30 and no deduction is made. I have looked at this page but doesn't seems to give info on if you have issues. I don't expect to have to pay again having paid wuaki and don't want to pay this and be told you cannot have a refund:
Im sure I read somewhere ends 31st July. Its a gift for someone so I didn't want to risk it.

I use an Amazon Firestick and an app to cast movies via websites to my TV. I have owned the old Chromecast but is it me or does the Firestick buffer more when streaming films when compared with the Chromecast (old or new)?

I always get poor quality when casting. I only use direct connection of the box with the TV.
So if I get a Chromecast from Wuaki (currently £22.99 with a HD movie but still great value) I can then redeem a 2 month Now TV entertainment pass for free through Google Cast app?

I went for the Xbox credit bundle - £25 credit and Max Max for £18.99. Code wouldn't redeem through XBOX website but worked straight away on my 360 no problems. Used £15 to buy Minecraft Story Mode Adventure Pass. Well worth it these offers. Already had a Chromecast, so no need for a new one as hardly use existing one :smiley:

After the bundle is bought on Wuaki, you're redirected to the Google Play store, where you can choose which colour you want. A code you're given upon receipt on Wuaki then removes £30 (for the Chromecast 2) at the Google Play checkout.

Bought the movie, they gave me the code, tried using it on the google checkout but it says "the code you entered has been redeemed". Pffft

I had the same experience. Clicked on a few items like choice of payment method, address. Then suddenly worked.
