[quote]Oh someone said rust Yes I know its hard to but a Cover Throughout Winter possibly any recommendations on that (cheers for the Hots Guys)[/quote
I got this cover from Amazon last year and it fits perfect, its gone up a bit now though as it was around £7(TIP- It helps if you actually use it and not put it on the shelf in the shed and let your chiminea rust!)
Yes 180 H , i Have used this since Set-up Took Me Around and Hour with No Rushing Pretty Simple Setup !!!
As for Use, It great The Smoke only comes out of The Stem No where else as the Door Mesh is just enough to Place Logs in But send enough heat out to keep the Chill off , Also u can cook in it as u get the Equipment to Throw a few burgers in ( Not sure about cleaning advises to put foil down for easy cleaning) Great tip, Also from B&M burning Log , Less smoke and just enough heat also easy to clean from opening door at the bottom Guys !!!
As for the £149.99 maybe once for an Hour lol But Definitely Worth £69.99 Looks the part Really good Quality <<< Oh someone said rust Yes I know its hard to but a Cover Throughout Winter possibly any recommendations on that (cheers for the Hots Guys)

Ah! I just looked closely at the pic and they have obviously redesigned it based on my sort of comment :-)

The exposed fire area is like a firepit, 360 degrees. You can buy them with only about a 90 degree opening. Does that explain my comment about smoke?

Bought one many years ago and as col11 states it will rust very quickly so you need to protect it. My other observation is that the opening (surrounded by wire mesh) is 360 degrees. Whichever side the wind blows will blow smoke and sparks out of the opposite side, if its calm smoke comes out all directions (depending what you're burning). I would go for something which has an opening and not 360. Watch out for clay ones as they can crack with the heat.

Are you talking about the opening with the mesh door an the main unit were you put the wood in? if so then it is not 360 degree mesh on this model its just a opening about a foot square with a mesh door the rest of it is solid cast iron, you can male this out from the pic

I bought an identical unit 8 years ago from a different supplier -was £140. These still sell elsewhere for around £140.
Just bought a replacement from B&M a couple of months ago and can't tell the difference. The original cast iron is still servicable, but the steel chimney is rusted away now.
These are excellent value at £70. Very large & heavy making it difficult to move once assembled, but gives off a great heat once fire established. Ideal for the Scottish Summer!

Got this last year and very happy with it, it is VERY tall and looks impressive
only bad point was only the main base is cast so all other parts will rust unless covered, I just painted mine with high heat spray paint from Aldi( bought off season half price) so looking good again now, just waiting for summer now!
