Same thing happened to me. Had to force the latch using a screwdriver to increase it by about 2mm, worked a treat!:smiley:

Says on the box they come in Shackle: 6mm diameter
Actually, the shackle is 7mm. So won't fit the latch I bought it for :man: I went out of my way to pick this up, so I'm pretty annoyed. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

if some pykie is gonna try break into your shed, theyre sure as hell not gonna pick the bloody lock, they will force it off or smash the window thus no padlock will be any different.
these are 50mm so they look the part, might be enough to deter them onto the next garden.

Few weeks ago I got into lockpicking videos on youtube and bought myself beginners lockpicks set. Went to argos and poundland, got some padlocks and I picked those "challenge" ones in 20 seconds as one of my first locks ever picked.
So there's that.

Wouldn't rate these as anything more than a deterrent. 20 seconds raking.
If you're sticking a lock in a secluded place (oy oy, but eg garden shed) something like this may attract as much negative attention as it deters. You might be better with nothing. Or a real lock.
