Almost the same watch someone posted a couple of days ago, but this is £16.01 cheaper. This has the red detailing, and clear LCD display. Which for me looks better than the white detailing. Other than that, its the same model just the different colour
Good reviews for this watch.
I have a few G-Shocks, which are from the pricer ranges. Great watches, especially for work. The can take the nocks, which would have more expensive watches cowering.
Living up to the G-shock reputation, this Casio watch with LED backlight has features like alarms, stopwatch, world time, countdown timer, average speed calculation and water resistant up to 200m. A must-have for adventure sports enthusiasts.
This watch can be found at the same price in Argos. Though for deliver add £3.95

Had this watch and loved it. I don't have it anymore though as I lost it in a strip club in Prague. I won't go into details.

@AsherDG It wasn't lost it was stolen - for such a "man of the world" you have a lot of lessons ahead of you.
Your comment isn't really a great advert for the watch manufactures; it doesn't really say class for a man who has to part cash for that kind of pleasure and then aims to fool your reader into pretending that there was some "details" other than what it was, which was a cheap and seedy couple of minutes for you but another numbing of the soul for the recipient of your money and your desperate attempt at masculinity.

This watch is bomb proof, but it has one major flaw..... you can't see it in pitch black with the light because of the colour of the hour hand.

I have an Oris TT3 which cost over a grand, that's the same very hard to see in the dark, but the Oris doesn't even have a light.

It's way way too big , just looks ridiculous
peter1969uk to pagehamillton
19 Jun 161#13
I guess that depends on the size of your wrist. I have a few watches which are around 41mm diameter, which look small. So personally I like a larger watch.

sent this back as the hour hand is almost impossible to see (day or night)

I'm not sure whether I'm more amazed at the comment or the fact he signed up to post it.
Back to the watch. It does look large, but you get used to it. Also, the complaints about the hour hand are valid.

For anyone who has this watch, what are the forward/reverse buttons for?
Slarty to bk201
19 Jun 16#18
I don't have this model, but to judge by my five G-Shocks, the forward/reverse are simply for adjusting time for the alarms and countdown timer.Think of them as "+" and "-".
MungoSplodge to bk201
20 Jun 16#27
They move the time/date back and forth when you choose to edit it. Also the reverse is the light and the forward button changes from the normal time view to date view when in the watches first position.
TYC to bk201

The buttons basically allow you to fast forward or to reverse time, yes, by time I'm referring to the fabric of space/time. No, I don't own the watch, and no, I don't have any friends...:disappointed:

Great watch...had this for three years and cost 80 quid then....bargain price
I hadn't seen this, but if factor in petrol, parking or time walking. This does work out cheaper.

I have this watch, have owned it now for 3 years and the battery is still going strong. It is hard to read at night but it looks great and will last a lifetime.

Also, as a keen collector of the old G Shocks, these ones are great but you will struggle to ever tell the time at night. The lights on these older style G Shocks have a small burnt orange LED light in them that does next to nothing. The newer ones have 3 bright white LEDS or are backlit which makes such a huge difference.

In a competition in designs to read the time quickly and easily....this does not come first.

Ok, on the other hand Big Ben does meet those requirements, but then people will complain about size on the the wrist. :stuck_out_tongue:

I do like Casio watches I have 2. But really would struggle with this one to be fair. Also the first and only time I had one of these G-shock style watches it was like weight lifting as my wrists are too skinny. Had to take it back for a refund and bought 2 cans of baked beans instead. One for each arm.

lol.
I like the size, and the weight is nothing compared to a few of my Omega's and Breitling's.
