You can get 6 "still fresh" oranges in Morrison's reduced for 90p instead of the 5 Pink lady apples for £2.50 you went in for... if you want an apple, then you'll need to pay for apples. If you think... well I don't mind oranges, and they're cheaper you can buy the oranges, but when you get home and one is all fousty inside and you get the boke and want to throw them all away, you'll regret not buying the apples.
The Audi will be brand new. If anything goes wrong, it's under warranty. It's probably nicer to be in and have nice gadgets inside. If you're willing to pay for it then great. You might want to buy the second hand Vauxhall, it could turn out to be a lemon and you could fork out more in maintenance and repairs, so after you factor that in and the resale after 2 years of a second hand Vauxhall and any maintenance / repair costs then you may not actually be any cheaper... and kinda wish you went for the Audi.

You can get a nearly new (well 10 year old and mostly working) Vauxhall for half this money and you get to keep it. Why would you go for this?

I'm thinking about getting a 500 pound car, any car with 12 months mot. Then I can drive it like I stole it, not care if someone opens their door onto it, curb the alloys etc! If it services past then, bonus.

Does it include indicators at this price? I know they cost more on Audi's (and apparently quite a lot more since no flecker ever gets them!!)

It looks a good price, but seriously, how much admin is involved to mean it costs £360
Even if they charge £36 p/h, that would mean it takes 10 hours to do the paperwork!!

28 Jun 16#13
From what I understand the admin fee is the only thing the lease company gets.

28 Jun 161#15
you think a garage admin could get the paperwork done that quickly?
Afnan to RuudBullit
29 Jun 16#17
You have to bear in mind that there is work involved when you return the car and it then has to be sold. Plus it's another way for the company to 'reduce' the monthly payments

My wife has just ordered one of these (buying, not this deal) and the price was cheaper than the one that I bought in 1997! Really don't understand it.
My indicators, by the way, worked for the full 15 years that I had that car (as they do on the new one).
As an aside, these have 36 month free 4G access in the MMI system, but don't know what you can use it for besides the sat nav.

Should be an initial payment of £1503.14 + 23 payments of £167.02

Slick_uk
29 Jun 162#34
because it would cost you a fortune in maintenance and lose half it's value in 2 years. For this you get a brand new car that's not going to break down and if it does, it won't cost you anything, plus you don't have to try sell it on autotrader for 3 months to a bunch of w***ers trying it on to get you to sell the car to them for nothing.

Just to add to the answer above.
The first MOT is due 3 years after the car is registered. Given this is a 24 month lease, you don't have to worry about any MOT's.
courtster
29 Jun 16#36
Not a bad deal, but the extras will kill you on leasing, esp 2 year deals. A3s don't even come with an auto-dimming interior mirror or park sensors as standard.
It's best to find a lease car that has a high standard spec that you don't need to add much to. For example with this car it will add £31 a month per £1k of options.

I have no idea - I was just pointing out the maths was wrong.
I got the Golf R Estate Lease Deal, so this seems very expensive in comparison to that... That was £267 a month.

It does have a lot more included than with the previous version (Xenons, DRL, MMI system) which would have cost another £2K. True, the rear parking is only standard on the SE version rather than the others.

Yes because every German has this attitude towards the UK. Every single one, it's been proven as there was a bloke, I think it was a reporter and he asked everyone individually in Germany and every one said "Yes guv, I think them Brits are tools". So this deal is pointless, just like reactionary rhetoric.

I'm all for hiring new cars but have to say it's not the cheapest option for people who claim it is... I paid 400 pound for my piece of **** car which so far has done me well even if you were to pay that each year for a piece of **** car it still works out cheaper guys... For the record id happily finance a car like this I'm all for it and voted hot but simply because I prefer a new car I'm not naive enough to say it works out cheaper...

Why shouldn't they have attitude, which I don't think they have ( Merkel actually said to other EU members to give us some time) - some of the country (51.9% of 71.8% of the voting population) voted to leave, but then we're delaying over enacting the process. It's like splitting up with your partner, but not moving out, let alone begin getting a divorce.

My 400 pound car is irrelevant in one sense but it's living proof if you want a cheap car buying a cheap and cheerful **** car can work out much cheaper! Again I get the concept of wanting a new car especially with today's society but it frustrates me people making it out like its the best thing to do with the money there are cheaper alternatives... Much cheaper...
