Luckily I still have a good amount of this left, otherwise it would only add to the massive spend from recent lightning\daily deals!
Nose: Subtle notes of lemon and honey are bound together with the distinctive Bowmore smokiness.
Palate: Warm and delicious with subtle dark chocolate and peat smoke.
Finish: Long and subtle.

Sshhhhh.
I love an Islay malt, but fear for my marriage if I order more from Amazon..

Me too. Only just started getting into whisky (and am leaning towards Speyside), but the Lightning/Deal of the Day efforts on Amazon have hit my wallet hard. Currently working my way through, Aberlour 12, Glen Grant 10, Old Pulteney 12, Glenmorangie 10 and a Singleton 12. Only wish I'd had the money to buy the likes of the Glenfarclas 21/25...etc that Amazon had on offer.

If it comes with a guarantee, then I'm buying it.

Much prefer speyside to islay, although a distillers edition double matured lagavullin was possibly the finest whisky I ever tasted...

Currently half way through my 10 year ardbeg islay. Which is one of my favourite whiskies of all time. So peaty my wife literally thought i had taken up smoking when she came near me.
I tried the bowmore a couple of years back. Thought it was solid but lacked a bit of character.

most balanced whisky out there, hope I can snatch one too at this price.

Good price but I've never managed to get into Bowmore, much prefer Caol Ila, Bunnahabhain and Lagavulin as my go-to Islays.

Bowmore 15 is the one to go for. Hidden gem but rarely find it under £50. If you ask for it in a whisky shop/bar you get a knowing nod of respect hehehe

Nice drop but I will leave it as I still have more than a bottle of the 15yr Darkest from the tesco RTC £26.50, that was one hell of a deal!
