I have a pair of these and they're incredible, especially for flights. Saw that Amazon.es were offering a decent saving from .co.uk so thought I'd share in case anyone was looking for a pair.
Are there any additional costs like tax or post? I am thinking of making the purchase.

Yes get your self a pair of Goldrings from Richer Sounds sound quality is good and voice cancelling works well too! Up there with the best ones I reckon.
I got a pair of sennisher pxc 350s off eBay. Superior to Bose qc15s.Might be worth looking out for. But as per the example above even relatively cheap noise canelling headphones will be benefical on a long flight.

B & O isn't audiophile stuff, it's USP is it's 'designer' styling. They make (or at least made) TVs! A company that focused on high end audio wouldn't dream of such behaviour.

It really depends where are you using this headphone, imagine if you use in on the plane/train all the times, the ANC become a really important which isolate all other noises. But if you are in a quiet environment, surely there are way too many better than Bose.
In terms of sound quality, I wouldn't say no one does it better than B&O, as there are so many other manufacturers (Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, Hifiman, Mr. Speaker, Oppo, etc) which produce extremely pricey headphones which can sounds better, just really depend on your personal preferences...

I've ordered the QC35s (not sure why Amazon aren't releasing until 20th when UK release is 15th). I'm just worried about audio delay when watching video on an iPad or iPhone. Has anyone got a pair of Bose wireless headphones (not noise cancelling obviously) that is able to confirm if there is any audio lag? I had a pair of Philips Bluetooth headphones and experienced lag on both my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s, but none at all when using with Appke TV 4.

Why not good? Will last for years and means can simply be recharged rather than needing to carry extra batteries with you. Work as wired headphones via cable for 40 hours on one charge or if noise cancelling turned off, they last as long as your device battery lasts.
Rechargeable battery is a minimum requirement with most devices these days. The convenience of USB charging is much better than an AAA battery.

Wireless headphones do tend to have a battery in them, yes ;-)
If you mean they are no longer removable. I suspect that has to do with making them less heavy and more comfortable to wear for extended periods.

As no doubt B&O definitely has better sound quality, but they can't match the level of ANC that Bose provides, the ANC is the best I ever heard period. Even with what I said, I didn't buy Bose in the end but chose for a B&O H6...hehe =P
And would you believe the company was started by an Indian - Amar Bose, a Professor from MIT (now passed). Most people believe Bose is a German company as the name sounds rather Germanic.

I have used the Digital Silence DS-101A for the last couple of years on flights. Does a great job virtually killing the deep aircraft engine rumbling making listening to your mp3 or aircraft audio/video system a real pleasure. Currently £30 on Amazon but has been cheaper. I wouldn't now travel on a plane without them. I even use them with no audio as a sort of ear plug when trying to sleep on long haul.

Look on eBay for Nokia BH905 headphones, they are old now but the noise cancelling on them is fantastic for the price they now go for.

Quite simply, I cannot afford these, but I want to buy some cheap noise cancelling headphones for flights. I am not able to appreciate the audio playback capabilities so that matters less. In fact I would probably use them with no audio, just silent with noise cancelling.

Would much rather spend the same amount of money and buy the Bang & Olufsen headphones whom of which have a reputation for providing excellent sound quality and are a lot more premium and higher up the market than Bose. Bose is a bit like Beats where the company focuses more on Branding rather than actual acoustics themselves. As an Audiophile I would much rather get the Bang & Olufsen headphones!

it's getting towards the John Lewis price match deal I got them at a couple of months ago .. the best at noise cancellation and very good acoustics for noise cancelled so... my biggest gripe is that the cable they supply only does EITHER android or IOS and they expect you to buy another at 25 quid .. it's doubly annoying as you can buy on eBay a dual IOS/Android cable for less than a tenner that's perfect .. incidentally the QC25 cables are interchangeable with several AKG models :-)
the QC35 obviously gets over this annoyance :-)

Yes, the sound quality isn't amazing and there are better cans out there if sound quality is of utmost importance to you.
However, the noise cancellation is fantastic. I bought them to make my commute a little nicer on the ears, blocking out the horrid noise of trains, tubes and conversations I don't want to hear. They do this incredibly well. I imagine for regular flyers they are a god send.

Aren't the QC25s prone to breaking down in the right ear cup? Bought a pair of QC15s for a recent flight, thoroughly recommend them. I would never fly without noise cancelling headphones again, the difference they make is unreal.

Pre-order price £289.95 (ouch).
Wasn't aware the QC35s were out soon. Just had a look and it seems they're wireless which means they tick all the boxes. Will have to see how they review.
