The point was that road helmets traditionally haven't got peaks and road cyclists are in general snobs (massive generalisation there I know) and I was making that point sarcastically

..no, yer right. Main thing with me and cycling is that you look ridiculous. How often, when you need to get to Booze Busters after work, would you go to your wardrobe and pick out a lime green and white lycra top with italian writing on it along with hideous matching set of cock-shaming shorts?

For those asking how good this helmet is;
I hit a wall at 32mph wearing one of these, it saved my life, and didn't smash in to pieces. (for those wondering, I hit a stone in the road descending a hill and took me off line on a country road)
It's a great wear, light and airy, and the visor clips off, I am on my second one, love it.

Just some info for anyone still after these.
I reserved one for my local store Bracknell and they called to say not in stock. However when I popped down there they had 2 on the shelf. I purchased one at 11:00 so there maybe one left still.
Not sure the reserve and collect guys actually know what to look for as still shows £79.99 on shelf.

Well yes, if they filled in the pot holes, and retrained some of the drivers to give cyclists more room. Then I would agree with him.
But the case is, some roads are terrible, and there are some stupid drivers out there. It is advisable to wear a helmet. Especially if you had a neurological problem like me. Better to be safe, than sorry.
How good are these helmets anyway? I got a generic one from tesco. So I wonder if these are that much better?

Will also add that in store it's still marked up at full price. I did click and collect but presume the till scan price I'd also £20
Bike Radar gives it 5/5, describing it (at its price of £70) as...
BikeRadar verdict
"An incredible helmet made even more astonishing by the price"
and
"one of the comfiest helmets we’ve ever worn"
