Don't worry, The whole of Europe is struggling to cope with third world problems right now so adding one more to the list will not make much of a difference.

I was just looking at this on Amazon, thinking that's a pretty decent price. It's not really on my list, mainly because I don't think I'm hardcore enough for it, but do I have a biting price? Every game's got a price! First world (see I changed it) problems like this are largely responsible for my ever increasing pile of shame...

Great price. Heat added.
Same as Tesco for those wanting to use clubcard boost.

Although I've played games for many, many years, I wouldn't say I'm hardcore either. Yet ive nearly finished it!

I've played the souls games and they are difficult in the sense that you need patience to get through it, cause if you die, you'll lose all the souls (in-game currency) you've collected (but can be re-obtained), and spawn back to the beginning, and it can be quite a trek back to where you got to. You'll also need to backtrack quite a bit as well once certain paths are more accessible.
Basically, there'll be a lot of frustration and a lot of cursing involved, but with a lot of patience and a bit of thought, you can quite possibly get through it, they're extremely satisfying games with very awesome lore. Oh, and the developer that directed 3/4 souls games, also directed Bloodborne

One of the few full game digital purchases I didn't regret ('till now) heat for one of the best games around

If I buy this edition will my new game plus data from the original bloodbourne carry forward or will it be like starting from the beginning again.

it will but dont be confused if it says it wont load. there is a hidden installation that takes about 15 mins to do i got worried when my save wouldnt load but then i realised the disc was really loud so something was still installing. when it finished i reloaded the game and it was there.

Yeah that really foxed me when I bought the DLC and reinstalled the game. I thought my save was corrupted - started the mourning process. Luckily a Google search highlighted exactly as you say, though for me the installation took much longer than 15mins! More like nearly an hour. Was hunky dory after that though.
And oh boy, the DLC is fantastic. Especially the bosses!

Is this better than the Witcher 3?

100% yes, Witcher 3 is very good but this is incredible! Best game ive ever played tbh

It depends on what you prefer. Bloodborne has amazing gameplay and multiplayer, but a fairly short and ambiguous story. The Witcher has a great story, and the gameplay itself is pleasant enough, if occasionally a bit clunky.

That's a bold claim! Witcher 3 was incredible, had BB GOTY for a while just haven't gotten around to it yet, currently getting ragey through Dragonage Inquisition on nightmare difficulty so should be a nice bit of prep for Bloodborne

Completed Uncharted 4 a month ago, just traded in Doom (which I didn't like much and didn't complete) for The Last of Us Remastered, and once I complete that I'll be straight on this.

I've almost got the platinum. Just finishing the last of the chalice dungeons.
Literally took me two full days of playing to get through the Defiled Chalice Dungeon. I've never known difficulty like it.
Once I get it, this platinum trophy is the one I'll treasure the most by a long way.

Just you wait for that penultimate chalice boss, OH BOY. The only time in the entire game I used the Beckoning Bell.

Does it help if you're any good at fighting games e.g. Tekken as I'm pretty hot at that ? I got on better with Kingdoms of Amalur better than Skyrim as the combat was faster and a bit more fluid

Not quite like tekken, fighting style is more like kingdoms of amalur, except it's more fluid, I reckon you'll enjoy bloodborne if you liked amalur, I recommend checking out a quick gameplay video though

Thanks. Have checked out quite a few vids and the game looks superb but still dithering LOL. KOA was a cracking game so hopefully this will be as good

Got the platinum yesterday
Yeah he was tough, took me a few hours to down him. Bolt paper and beast blood pellets seemed to help. Actually found the first boss of the last dungeon tougher though.
Was thankful the final boss was pretty easy to kill. Not sure I could have taken much more to be honest
