Bought this, been up and running for about 10 days. good value TV, no issues with picture but I only use it for TV. Sound is much better than the toshiba I bought last month. Do have some issues with getting the apps to work properly but as I don't really need them (I have TiVo) not especially bothered. Set up as it came out of the box. Sleep timer works ok but can't make it turn on automatically but again, not really essential. For the basic TV functions I recommend it, if you want a TV that has bells on it, probably not the one for you.

Does anyone have this TV? If so please could you answer:
- will casting to a Chromecast automatically turn on the TV (IE HDMI power on)
- is the screen glossy or matt? (IE non reflective)
Thanks!

HEAT!
Brilliant tv and has a little known extra that keeps the heat off / out of the room/s when in use.. the display
can be powered off, whilst leaving the music / prog / radio / stream running in the background if you just
want to listen and not watch ;-)

This Blaupunkt TV does not have very good reviews on Tesco.
another option would be Seiki SE43FO02UK for £169 from AO.com. It got many great reviews.
The TV picture is quite good. (You need to change picture settings to how you like it. Out of box it was not set up to how I like it.)
The sound is average as bad as most flat TV.
The stand is the worst bit.
But for the price, I cannot complain.
I bought Seiki SE43FO02UK this week, and returned it because I decided to buy a larger screen. AO.com refunded me straightaway without even collect the TV yet. Highly recommend it services. I bought a 50 inch LG last night waiting to be delivered.

These TV's MAY have been invented around the time of the sodding Dinosaurs?!, hahahaha, BUT ...
They were the ONLY TV's of lore that were ever actually worth more than nowt? (10-15 years+ MINIMUM!). :-)
Which is more than can be said of some modern day TV's and the like? (5 years MAX!, if your lucky ... ) :-(
