Was looking at the other posts on here for a frost free fridge freezer and after spending a decent amount of time researching on AO I decided to go for this one instead. AO do sell the same fridge freezer but it's silver and it's £299 (you could probably get it for £279 if you find the £20 off voucher on here). also get the 2 year guarantee with Lewis + free delivery next week.
Not bad for a Monday me thinks.
thanks to everyone for their comments on the other threads that helped me go for this.

I've had a BEKO fridge freezer for 9 years and it's never caught fire, it's a cracking fridge, people need to let go of the fire story, you not going to ride a plane because of 9/11? You not going to buy a Vauxhall because their Zafira's had a fire issue? Most companies have had faults which exposed buyers to health risks, but they resolve the issues and usually don't repeat it. You learn from mistakes.

This was the thread that mentioned the £20 off at AO and also some pretty negative comments which swung my purchase from Hoover to Beko.
Great price, I bought a 85 litre beko under counter freezer for the garage over the bank holiday, had this been available at the time would have been sorely tempted to stump up the extra (I only paid 140) for this instead.

Also BEKO are the only ones guaranteed to keep working when the ambient is low (down to -15c) - eg if kept in a garage.

if you google "iphone fire" , "whirlpool fire" or "hotpoint fire" you'll find more articles/results.
Is this mean that we shouldn't buy iphone?

Heat. Ordered for the old man. His current one is too small and a bit clapped out This one will have much more room and be quieter and more efficient.

Beko are by far the most popular brand of large kitchen appliances in the UK and Bosch had a far larger fire issue with their dishwashers. Still half a million in the UK I believe unaccounted for. Both Bosch and Beko have since made great efforts to improve the safety of their products though so not sure how relevant this is now.
hot point are worse.they know of a model that sets on fire and still haven't sorted it

You must have watched the 10 Cloverfield Lane before 9.11 and since then you must be living in the basement... Well done mate, you deserve the medal of 2016 stupidity award...
