Errrrr...... my son will tell you differently, he now refuses to watch me play as I'm "an embarrassment"!!! I'd be OK if people would:
1. Stop bloody still for 2secs (maybe 10secs)
2. Stop shooting at me
3. LET ME WIN!!!!

I swear it must be old age, I used to be so good at these games until I had children, now I just spray and pray or camp in a corner.... and still miss the one guy who runs past :smiley:

Bought a 48 hour Xbox Gold Live trial off eBay. I've redeemed the code but it still wants to charge me the full price for this game, although it is showing as free for gold members. Any ideas please?

Definitely, needs more games, mostly sports and I'm not a fan of the sports game.. But the others will suffice for now.

This is also free on the PS4 which by any standard has been a resounding success selling over 40 million units. The reason its become free is not because its failing, its to get people playing/talking about the Battlefield franchise again to publicize the upcoming release of Battlefield 1. I love gaming on PC, XBOX one and PS4. PS4 has great Japanese exclusives, The XBOX One has some cool features and hassle free storage. The PC has Steam and the whole back catologue of classics. None of them are struggling. Even Xbox sales have picked up now they are so competitively priced.

Yes mate, XO, I've downloaded them and they are installed, but when I click on the maps, it just takes me to the "purchase" screen?!? I'll have a play around with it later :smiley:

EA access is a good idea but its all sports games atm

Is not bad at all of you like some of the games in the vault. Personally I can't fault it so far. Would like to see more titles added.

It's only half a megabyte but without that I couldn't play online either despite having the complete set of dlc installed.

​Mp only I'm afraid, great content though and the Mp is the best part of battlefield by a country mile, and that's coming from someone who doesn't usually like competitive Mp games!

Ea access will be great in a few years when more decent titles are added. At the moment if you don't like sports titles is it worth paying an annual/monthly fee for the two battlefields, titanfall and Dragon age.

Exactly. Current posted CD Keys deal gives you a year for £2.23 per month. That is insane value IMO!

Fair point but how many people don't use XBox Live Gold? It's almost a must to get anything like a decent online experience...plus the two free games a month? Worth every penny, especially with deals for under £30 now appearing again for Live memberships.

This isn't even the *good* deal for this DLC because you (for some reason) need to be on a paid-for subscription to get it. So it's not even really free. It will be actually *really* free on Origin and PSN. They're the really good deals.

The clue is you need to install.....

The base maps are some of the most popular in the game. There will be a lot of players still playing the base game so you should have no problem finding a match.

You can still play the base game for free online mate

Cannot complain for free. I was tempted to buy BF 4 on the marketplace for £3.25? but to play it online you need all the DLC which I would end up paying through the nose for. So it's not actually worth it :disappointed: Also the last BF game I played in earnest was Bad Company 2 so I would get pwned

Would be nice if they fixed the game so it recognised you own the expansion packs.
All I get is "you need to install this play" etc, despite owning the full deluxe version with every expansion.

Any chance of a quick guide for us newbies? I can't find a map where everyone is playing:( plus there's so many maps I just get so confused :disappointed:

It will be released free at some point. DICE revealed that they will be releasing all the DLC for free between now and the release of Battlefield 1.
