All supermarkets have these kind of offers, and I think that's the point of this site: see a deal you like and you can stock up at the lowest price while the offer is on, hopefully tiding you over until the next good offer comes along.
These kind of Waitrose 'deals' are smoke and mirrors for me - I would never buy 2 packs at once anyway. And woah - I save 50p temporarily getting 2 packs this way - whereas I save 50p more or less permanently elsewhere on 1 - where they're very regularly on offer at £1 per pack.
