I've been looking around and am struggling to find much better at this price point. Ideally looking for i7, 15.6" screen and dedicated graphics card for £500ish but having no joy.

That is with the keyboard. Deal expired now. But which would you have gone for?

With the minimum spec I expect it will initially retail for around £800

Zenbook 3 looks to be very decent, but will cost a lot more than the one in this deal >
Looked at this and was tempted but ended up going for a XPS 13. Appreciated there is a price difference but the 128GB SSD was a massive turn off for me.

Ebay item 141955048164 is a similar option. Dell Latitude 13 7350 for £370. Really happy with mine. 4GB and M-5Y10c, so lower spec but comes with 2.5 yr Dell next day warranty. Refurbished but mine was as new. Keyboard is detachable so can be used as a proper tablet, can also install a second battery in the keyboard.

OP you should checkout the laptop deal I just posted, it's a very price but with much better hardware.
The Lenovo has the better CPU and Gigabit ethernet.

Great looking machine. Was debating getting one myself, especially at that price, but the Core M processor just isn't good enough for what I want. Does have many positives though (mainly that it doesn't need a fan, reducing the size/weight/noise).

Pay £579 at John Lewis and get 3yr guarantee included. New Zenbook is out soon so this should get cheaper over the next months or two if you can wait. Great laptop though.

Not really. It's been at 550 or so for a couple of months.

Would imagine this will get cheaper soon as Zenbook 3 is about to be released but still a good bit of kit for the money!
