Remember to factor in £9.49 VAT and a £8 handling charge. Well, factor that in if we vote to Brexit. You can skip the transaction charge if we instead join the Euro.

Yeah a bit disappointing. Unfortunately in the case with Amazon France, it's not always their fault (apart from the obvious fact they made the price mistake), but there is actually a law that stops (French) retailers selling below cost, even if it's a pricing error. And at the very least, they have to pull the sale as soon as it's realised. It's also very unlikely they will compensate you like some of the other Amazon sites do with vouchers etc.

Lol your having a laugh right. Go troll somewhere else.
Ps. My parents are still very much alive and travel freely and cheaply without having to worry about visas or stability,
As for my grandfather he was a major in world war two, (Him and his 3 brothers all signed up on the same day). One of the things he did as an officer was sorting out the logistics when they reached Auschwitz, so he certainly saw some sights and you honor your relatives how you wish.
All he wanted when he got back was peace and for Europe to never again make that mistake, like many his priority was building a welfare state and having a European union where we work together for the common good with security and stability at the heart of it.
Being part of the EU doesn't dishonor anyone.

The connector on these is tiny compared to most others, but if you have a spare Asus psu then you might be able to swap the front plate.
You shouldn't just plug a psu into something without checking the polarity, voltage and current outputs are correct otherwise you have a good chance of frying something.

I'm not an electrician and wouldn't muck with this stuff unless you know your 'ACDC ' but someone might advise if it's OK to use previous routers plug transformer providing has same spec s . I had the same spec connector with previous brightbox and freeserve hub before that...,are they all standard.

Yes it will! Basically Virgin Super Hub you will change a setting to modem only (you can do by yourself or just call them and they will help you to do it), then you connect with Asus by cable so Asus will act as your main router. I have exactly the same model and this solution works great as there are five adults in my house and everyone have few devices, those brilliant Asus Rueter can handle all of it very well. I'm very happy with this solution which was actually also recommended from someone else from hukd!
dt_matthews
12 Jun 16#68
In all likelihood it will - the sky hub wireless is very poor - this will be much stronger signal. Youll need to keep the sky hub and put it in 'modem' mode and use this for wireless/wired service.

I have the normal broadband (not the fiber optic one) and connection is ok in the living room but not upstairs. would this help in having a stable good connection upstairs (about 15-30 meters?). i get 10 - 12 MBPS downstairs and 1-2 MBPS upstairs..

I have the Asus Nsl D66U and it's a great fast router with good controls. The parental controls are child's play - but the teenagers don't know the password ....misbehave and at the press of button no internet or only enough internet time for homework task. The Aicloud software is very useful. Few days ago at work I needed to access a file from my home computer and I simply accessed it by waking up the computer using the 'secure' software app on my iPhone . I've done the same from a hard drive plugged into the routers USB slot and from a WD networked back up drive connected by LAN cable. Ive set the guest network to run at half the speed of family usual connection so visiting teenagers don't clog my 'highway speed'.

When you pay for something in another currency your bank will charge you an exchange rate and possibly a fee. Some cards have no fees and/or better exchange rates. See travelmoneymax.com for cards that offer the best prices. They also work out cheaper than going to a currency exchange if you're travelling

I've had one of the with virgin media for a year or so and it's FANTASTIC. Much better stability, no random latency issues and better wireless range, it's so much better than the superhub.
The only thing I would ding it on is if you use a vpn service as a client on router, the CPU maxes out and limits speed. If you do vpn on your PC's or don't do it all, this is not a problem.

Brilliant router and at this price it will be near impossible to find anything better. Stick Merlins firmware or Tomato and you have got yourself one beast of a router with so many features you wont know what to do with it . Something to bare in mind for those upgrading from BT hubs and the likes you will need a modem such as the HG612 or an existing router that can go in Bridge mode for best results. I dont beleive the homehubs can go in bridge mode but IIRC the superhubs from TalkTalk can.

It was a pricing error. It's not available for uk dispatch. :disappointed: they've not debuted my account either.
Better luck, next time.

Just got an e-mail that it's been a price error.
Great find OP, and thanks for sharing top banana
Annoyingly I just ordered this when I changed my mind, so now I've both coming and I'll probably send the AFOUNDRY one back, despite it's many aerials.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/AFOUNDRY-Wireless-External-Processors-Enterprise/dp/B019WBON5K
£50.08 is including delivery
Was that incl delivery?
If we vote out we'll still be in the EU until a new deal with Brussels is signed, which will be a long time after these ship.
You shouldn't just plug a psu into something without checking the polarity, voltage and current outputs are correct otherwise you have a good chance of frying something.
A massive reduction on an old router which will not ship until AFTER the referendum vote!!!!!!
Some of you are selfish dumb asses who could not see through crystal clear glass.
Your parents and grandparents gave their lives for our freedom and yet you seem willing to allow their sacrifices to all be in vain. You dishonour their names.
Is pia easy to install on this?
Thanks for sharing OP!
Estimated delivery in ~month, but happy to wait at this price...
Overall.....Merlin or Tomato?
I also use it with virgin media 200mb service and it works fine (modem mode), failover WAN too
Shame its in white, but you can hide it
great deal
ok found it
I use a firestick and my laptop is upstairs from my router so u reckon better?
I've got one of the new Virgin Superhub 3.0 - would I notice a discernible difference if I bought one of these?
I needed a new router that is reliable.
Plus I think the other posters advice was to use Chrome if you're struggling with basic French - the translation is built in and will help across many other sites too.
On my old RT-N16, any custom firmware reduced my speeds to around 120Mb as FastNat was not supported
I bought it but if Fastnat is going to be an issue, sticking with my Archer C8 might be the best option
thank you
The only thing I would ding it on is if you use a vpn service as a client on router, the CPU maxes out and limits speed. If you do vpn on your PC's or don't do it all, this is not a problem.
EDIT: Standard ADSL Broadband, not Fibre... in that case am I right in thinking it is auto setup?
Been working flawlessly for me with 5ghz and 2.4 channels, gigabit ports, network storage option, wireless on/off button etc.

I have a super hub 2 so would it be even worth it for me? And are custom firmwares that good? I've read a little into it but feel I'm not seeing there true advantages.
Ordered, now to see if I can get this to run in VPN mode, did all the research last year and forgotten it all!
Looks like the gravy train has run dry.
Nice spot thanks for the post I snagged one
But hey-ho. I might get a router out of it.
