Good deal, however personally I would refrain from using antibacterial soaps for plenty of reasons:
- they're actually effective in vivo, in strengths not used in soaps after working on bacteria for amount of time a "bit" longer than "washing the hands" seconds: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2015/sep/16/antibacterial-soap-with-triclosan-found-to-be-no-real-threat-to-germs
- even if it was, you would be actually killing your own *beneficial* bacteria giving those harmful more room to evolve in drug-resistant: http://cid.oxfordjournals.org/content/45/Supplement_2/S137.long (please read references 7 to 9)

Like how much margin even a so-called cheap supermarkets have in their sale price.

I think they are doing what Tesco did a few years ago, and what Boots are apparently about to do, which is move back to their core business and cut down on the number of lines they do. Instead of selling 10 hand washes, they'll sell five. It's the Aldi/Lidl model of a small range of cheap stuff, though I expect Asda will sell a couple of expensive ones too.

This stuff brings my hand up in cuts and broken skin. Don't know what they put in it but my hands end up looking bad every single time. Wouldn't use if it were free.

Nope, they're clearing lines that don't sell very well in order to make room for more Asda branded products. Competing with Aldi and lidl
