How do these work, my kid has only had the packets that are free with Wii U Festival game and 3DS Home Designer game. Is it like a 'blind bag' so you could get any 3 from possibly 100s and end up with shedloads of duplicates?

Yes. If your kid has characters that they like, buy them on eBay, it's about £3. There are in total 500+ characters.

Why can't Nintendo make amiibo cards like these of the normal Nintendo amiibo characters. :disappointed: Admittedly they sorta did a while back with the 3DS AR Cards:

I'd be surprised if we don't see a dedicated Marioland collectors book with loads of cards, like you get with the animal crossing. Not sure if we will see everything on card form... maybe Zelda might have a chance? there is a lot of characters.
