Inspired by and prequel are pretty different, it's hard to have a film that pretty much starts after the end of the world. As I said it could be a sequel given it's setting, but it couldn't be a prequel(happens before) given the events of the movie and the premise of the TV show and comic being about a crime solving zombie in current day America. There is also a really good novel series by Kara GIllian that is pretty much a direct reimagining of the source material but having the "liv" character as a white trash drop out that gets a job as an ME assistant(better than the TV show IMO). And the theme itself is an old one, it's essentially a combo riff of Frankenstein and Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde.

If anyone would like to harvest some HotUKDeals 'like' karma then why not go through the whole list and make a note of the Rotten Tomato and Metacritic score for each Blu-ray. I'm offering one whole like for the effort. :wink:

Not really a prequel since they aren't at all linked, and of course the source material predates the movie, a bootleg sequel maybe.

In among the junk their are few moderately decent titles. Marley, Spring Breakers, The Disappearance of Alice Creed. Pretty much all of the rest are s***e.

Warm Bodies is a great zombie romance film and in a way, a prequel to CW's I, Zombie. :smiley:
